Seems like Scooter is setting up new records from tour to tour! The band was able to directly take the number one spot in the official German DVD Media Control Charts with their "Scooter - Live In Hamburg" release this week. The live album went to the 14th spot of the official German album charts - an absolute great result in the band's history!

Now it's official and no longer a rumor: Scooter will continue their successful "Under The Readar Over The Top Tour" by the end of this year under the name "Stuff The Turkey X-mas Tour 2010". Everyone who didn't manage to get tickets to one of the past concerts now has the chance to see Scooter live on stage.

Scooter – "Stuck On Replay" which has been chosen as the official anthem for the 2010 Ice Hockey World Championships is going to be released on coming friday! Scooter will perform this song (and more) at the opening match Germany vs USA on May 7, 2010 in theVeltins Arena, Gelsenkirchen in front of a world record crowd of near 76,000. The single will be available in two versions. A 2-Track and a extended version with 6 tracks. Besides the other two official World Championships songs "Ti Sento" and "Metropolis" the non-album track "P.U.C.K." will exclusively be available on this release.

The ice hockey World Championship will be broadcasted on TV all over the world. It is one of the biggest sport events of the year and it will reach over 650 m. people. You can find a sample of the song "Stuck On Replay", which will be released on March the 12th, on www.iihfworlds2010.com

Bets came from Canada, the US, Russia, Ukraine, and even Greece – ice hockey fans all around the world took part in an online game to speculate who would provide the sound for the 2010 IIHF World Championship. The longer they speculated, the more the rumours pointed toward a German band that has made quite a splash in recent years all over the world – SCOOTER. More than 25 million recordings sold, over 80 gold and platinum records from all over the world and with 23 top ten hits, the most successful German band in chart history – those are the facts surrounding the unprecedented international triumph of the three musicians from Hamburg around front man H. P. Baxxter. Now SCOOTER will be providing their sound for the 2010 IIHF World Championship.
The official song of the 2010 IIHF World Championship will be "Stuck On Replay", produced in best arena sound. Its catchy refrain "I got this feeling down deep in my soul that I just can't lose - Guess I'm on my way" not only encourages fans to sing along, it also symbolizes the attitude that the 16 championship teams will take onto the ice with them. The song is from the latest SCOOTER album "Under The Radar Over The Top" and will be released as a single in March 2010. Album and single will then feature the 2010 IIHF World Championship logo and a notice of the official song. "SCOOTER’s fast, hard rhythms are perfect for ice hockey,” enthuses Henner Ziegfeld, head of PR in the World Championship organizing committee, about the musical coup and adds, “With SCOOTER we will present a top act from Germany for the World Championship that is currently ‘in’ and is a big name in the other countries participating in the World Championship as well. We are aware that SCOOTER can be controversial, but their style is definitely anything but boring and will give the World Championship its own unmistakable sound. "In addition to "Stuck On Replay" other songs from the latest SCOOTER album will be part of the musical program of the 56 World Championship games. The 2010 IIHF World Championship is taking place from the 7th - 23rd May 2010 in the Cologne "LANXESS arena", the Mannheim "SAP ARENA" and the Gelsenkirchen "VELTINS Arena" and is using the motto "GERMANY ON ICE". The organisation committee, with president Uwe Harnos and general secretary Franz Reindl heading it up, is expecting 500,000 spectators at 56 World Championship games from 16 of the world's best nations. 1,000 accredited journalists and over 200 TV stations involved will report in over 100 countries of the World Championship from Germany.
