Obviously pjad_uk ( and blue hegdehogs  ) have something we don't :? :?

Well, i don't think The Box could ignore pjad_uk's mighty powers of persuasion. lol! I must admit ... my e-mail really did challenge them.

Some of my favourite comments included ...

"Isn't it ironic that your company constantly claims to be a music channel where the viewers choose the music? Smash Hits You Control? But really this is only an illusion, isn't it? How can viewers choose to watch their favourite group's new single if you refuse to add it to your playlist?"

and

"In the past The Box and in turn it's viewers have been very receptive towards Scooter. The Box, in the past, have provided the group with some much need publicity. Why the sudden change? Why all of a sudden have the music industry's anti-Scooter prejudices caught up with you?"

Lots of lovely rhetorical questions in there. They usually work ... gets them thinking.

Anyway ... i dunno what kind of things u guys wrote but i would have expected most people to get a reply. Especially being as so many of us have e-mailed in. My e-mail still didn't work tho. I may have got a reply but they're still refusing to play the video.

Well - I also pursued the subject about the viewers not being able to choose in this case, and why had they changed and would not play this one?

Hopefully they had enough mails to make them seriously think about this, but in the end they seem happy to contribute to the failure of this great track in the UK

I hope it at least makes the top 20 without The Box

As it is 21 June today I decided to see if the release date had changed on the AATW website - and today there is a picture of the JJ CD 8) 8)

Under it it says:

Scooter - Jigga Jigga

Out in the UK June 21

As this was added today I think, I foolishly thought it might be true :? ...

....so at lunch time I went to Milton Keynes to try to obtain the elusive UK JJ, only to be told by both HMV and Virgin that the date is (as we thought more likely) 28th June :? :? :?

The date has now been changed on the AATW website. I think (touch wood) that this date is now a 100% 'nailed on' certainty.

28th of June. End of story.

It's good to see that AATW have had a little bit of a dig at the media in passing ...

"Their next single is Jigga Jigga and is a great track, complete with strange vid...shot in Japan it gives you a glimpse of the Scooter live show

Release date is to be 28 June and despite being criminally ignored by the media - we're sure this will be a big success for one of the most original dance acts around."

Too right!

It is criminal....

A lot of people in the UK will now never hear this track. And if they do it'll be when they listen to the 'end of chapter' compilation album ... which is a long way off.

It just frustrates me that talentless r'n'b and rap artists are never off our TV screens while acts like Scooter, who actually offer something different and unique, get subordinated. The music industry in the UK is bent. Corrupt, monopolised and abused. It makes me sick!

Yes I agree!!!!

At least we have a date for sure now - lets hope it is a success

BTW - if anyone needs a copy send me a PM - I will be buying a few on Monday :) :)

I think the 5 track CD will cost £2.99, and the 2 track CD £1.99. 1.5 Euros will cover postage and packing to most of Europe. :) :) :)
