Hello,

I am not going to vote for Jay, cuz I dont like him!
As a matter of fact, he could be a good Dj but I guess there is some Djs there are better than Jay.
Michael is great!
I am so happy that Jay isnt a SCOOTER bandmember!

I have never heard/seen Jay or other known DJs so I start on Thursday with Paul van Dyke. He is coming to Stockholm and I just picked up the last two tickets! So I’ll vote later… :D

Hello Andrea,

I wish you a lot of fun with Paul van Dyk, he is very great!
He use other Decks as a "normal" DJ, all tracks and sounds are saved on his Pc. So he just play the songs at every gig absolut different.

Best wishes to Sweden from Germany

LORD DAVE

P.S.: If you dont know to vote for which Dj, I recommend 3PM, great tracks, good Dj; go to http://www.myspace.com/3pmtechno!

Thank you! I hope it’s going to be a grate evening. But I’m going to be very disappointed if he’s not playing LUT or U.F.O Phenomena or something similar from Scooter.
I was listening to “Politics of Dancing 2” today and with the “right” mix both LUT and U.F.O would fit perfect his style. But I don’t know whether DJ´s are playing their own style or mixing different styles nowadays.

I will check 3PM

Hello Andrea!

I dont know whether he plays tracks from SCOOTER. Although SCOOTER has really good tracks and I think German acts have to support other Artists from Germany.
I really like the track "we alive" from PvD, of course its a really old track I guess from the year 2001, but I like this one as I do it 2001. I hope that is the right form. If not correct me, please.

I know that as play Blank and Jones as Axel Coon their own tracks.
But I have a question: Is U.F.O. Phenomena not from SCOOTER?

Best regards
Manuel

For me U.F.O Phenomena is a Scooter song. In any case I have never heard it before.

Unfortunately Paul van Dyk wasn’t my favourite. I mean here comes one of the biggest DJ´s on earth playing from 1.00-4.00 and people start leaving from 2.30. :? Shouldn’t everybody stay until he is basically closing his laptop?

He played monotone drum/bass elements jazzed up with some sound effects that one could hardly hear due to the banging. Some other sound effects were so loud and bad that I had to put my hand over my ear. No melody just a same type of banging for 3 hours holding exactly the same BPM. Boring! :(

He mixed short pieces from his Politics of Dancing, some track with a short lyric and among the sound effects I think I heard something that reminded me of that sound LUT starts with. But that’s all. In general the switch-over between the low and high parts 8 times of 10 was really badly mixed and timed.
The only thing that added some “colour” was 3 big screens with video mixes. It showed naked girls with big breasts from the early 70´s, a baby swimming below the surface, a Ninja with a sword fighting with a female dancer, astronauts in space etc. Wickeeed! is a perfect word to describe it. However at least I had something to reflect on.
But...
I danced sometimes after all since “drum and bass and jungle will never die” and it grabs you whether you want it or not.

Oh God, I love Scooter now more than ever! :P

mmh?

Have you ever visited a concert from SCOOTER?
Live are they very, very great!
I am looking forward to visiting the forthcoming tour and listening to the songs "Rattys Revenge" and "The Shit that killed elvis".
But I think that the new album is the best, which they ever produced.

Have a nice week!

SCOOTER IS THE BEST LIVE ACT !!!

ah... not really... at the moment, Rammstein is the best German Live Act. Scooter was good around 1997-2002, after that they came a bit lazy with they Live Gigs. The most parts are playback, only H.P. is shouting/singing live. In the past, they was better, because they play the most parts live in the Tracks and add extra stuff. :?

Nobody is the best live act, it's just an opinion, but it's my opinion too. Rammstein is the best.
