maybe the reason I like the album version of A Day That Fades less than the AM to PM mix is that I heard the latter first.

I love discussing CG :D but IMO it started earlier... When they released I Feel Wonderful, it came with an AM to PM mix :) was that in 2004 or 2005? I think their Different Concept 12'' was released in summer 2004 or something... I'm not 100% sure though

Yeah, nice to see someone else who likes CG in here :)
And just for information, the single I Feel Wonderful was released in 2005, and yes you are right, I totally forgot that it had a From AM To PM Mix.
But what I meant was the real new AM 2 PM Mix, the one of A Day That Fades, the Body Of Conflict Club Mix and all the other remixes and album tracks in that style, if you know what I mean.
The AM 2 PM Edit of I Feel Wonderful is not exactly in that style, although it's close but still not what this style is at the moment :)

I can see what you mean... In the beginning I wasn't happy about their change to AM to PM, but now I like this style more. Sometimes I refer to it as "stoner trance", but this is meant in a very good way. It sounds like a lot more thought has been put into it.

Track of the day:
Oceanlab - Sirens Of The Sea [Cosmic Gate Vocal Remix]

High Volume - DJ Massiv vs. The Rebel

This track brings some memories. It was playing in the background of a jumpstyle tutorial-video, which was the first jump-tutorial for me in 2007 :P
