Yeah, many of the tracks sound similar on the new album because they are mostly in CG's new AM 2 PM style, which is so amazing of course, but it becomes a bit boring at times (the AM 2 PM Mix of A Day That Fades for example).
Although it's nice to have tracks such as Under Your Spell and Seize The Day, which give it a nice bit of diversity
I find that track a big improvement compared to the album version. Also, I never figured out why they decided to that AM to PM thing a few years ago

Hehe I mainly dislike the AM 2 PM Mix of A Day That Fades because the album version is one of my favorite CG tracks, I really love it so I think that this mix is it's uglier brother
But the whole thing with that AM 2 PM style came from their idea to make the track Element of Life a vocal one, with adding Denise Rivera's vocals and renaming it to Body of Conflict, and for the club mix they decided to try something different and it turned out to be better than the original lol
So this is how it all started, you can even see the similarity between this club mix and the Cosmic Gate Remix of Tiesto's Everything on his Elements of Life album - those 2 tracks were the start.

but IMO it started earlier... When they released I Feel Wonderful, it came with an AM to PM mix was that in 2004 or 2005? I think their Different Concept 12'' was released in summer 2004 or something... I'm not 100% sure though

maybe the reason I like the album version of A Day That Fades less than the AM to PM mix is that I heard the latter first.
