He won't be able to communicate individually - he will just get too much mail now I imagine - and he's obviously busy.

Even to send the same message to a lot of people would take a lot of time - its great if he updates his site from time to time then we can all read it - and if someone copies the updates here (thanks scooterusa :) ) then we can all read it here!

I suspect he will be very busy from now on though :)

Michael has his first live appearance with the band on Saturday in Switzerland - I hope that goes really well, and the fans welcome him well.
Good Luck with that Michael! :)

ben, can you ask him about that he will posting at this forum?

I might be wrong but I doubt he will post - there seems to be a band policy not to - and I think it won't be long before he stops giving individulal replies on myspace - I hope I'm wrong, but as he becomes integrated into the band this will soon change

Seems like a silly policy not to reply to fans. While I can understand them not posting on here, the odd reply on myspace seems like a very nice gesture indeed.

Though if he is under the allusion that he will be able to reply to everyone, he has no idea what he is in for. Just hope to get in before he gets too swamped :p.

I don't expect him to reply to individual messages. I sent him a quick message last night asking him to look at the S.O.S. topic which he read. Obviously he hasn't replied but he's a busy man now and for him to set up a special website especially to keep us informed about what the guys are doing is great in itself. I say good luck to the fella. He's seems like a top bloke.

Why would it have a negative impact?

All i said was, some of the fans are concerned, it might be useful for you, being new to the band, if you had a quick browse through this topic. And i wished him luck aswell and said that i am excited to see whether he can bring Scooter's spirit and direction back.

I hardly twisted his arm. :D I wasn't pushy.

Us Brits are normally very good at detecting sarcasm but on an internet forum without the smilies we have no chance.

The poor man will realise he can't win before he starts - because while I agree in that topic you all wanted Scooter to change - you had a variety of very different ideas about how to do it :?

Errr, i'm not sure about that Sandra. I accept, we didn't all agree 100% but fundamentally i think all those posting in the S.O.S topic wanted 1) less covers, 2) more time spend making albums 3) a clear evolution towards a new sound. Ask anybody who's on the "concerned fans" list and i think they'd agree on all 3 of those points.

And whatever was said, at least our topic is food for thought for Michael. He can't claim to be in the dark about the way some fans see the band these days.
