What about Japan?

Well, we all know that Scooter had a gig in Japan (and if you don't, buy the new DVD, lock yourself up in your room and watch the Jigga Jigga clip till you know). But why did they go there? Are there really some Japanese fans out there? Because the arena (or whatever they are preforming in) looks kinda big and the crowd seems to like the music a lot. But how do they actually know this kind of music? I thought Japan was kind of isolated from the rich-and-famous-musicstars-music that we have here in Europe and the US.

I am very interested in this as well. I went to Japan last summer and i love the country. The thing is that the japanese love everything! That stadium did seem big, that would be cool if they played another concert there. yay japan!

Japan has a decent EDM following. DJs go there often enough. Japan has had their own, unique versions of scooter cds plenty of times, so there is clearly a large enough following.

Japanese people are known to just PARTY PARTY PARTY!!!

There is alot of pressure on Japanese people (mainly the younger generations) in study and work, it is there number one priority. When there is a concert on, they will go NO MATTER WHO IT IS

(I have done alot of study on Japan and its cultures, so I am only going by what I have been taught  )

There are two main areas in electronic music: EDM and Industrial.

Lol I never knew that, but my question is still: What does EDM mean.

EDM = Electronic Dance Music = Trance, House,Breakbeat, Ambient... all kind of electronic music.

Industrial isn't exactly electronic music even though it is highly influented by electronic music.
