Yes, they cover, but so what?

So its not actually them making the music...

they only make new synth sound with ripped material and edit some notes or accords a little bit because copyright. but you can't call it own composition what they do. more own editing of ripped song material...
the worst example of this method was for me jigga jigga, they ripped 3 trance classics and mixed it together and call it Scooter track at the end... and biggest shame is to act like it was a completely own Scooter song idea. they didn't say any word about Alex Morph - Creatures, Mac Zimms - L'annonce Des Couleurs and Fictivision Vs. Quence - Symbols but this 3 songs are Jigga Jigga.

dont forget : the refrain is from enya.

No, they aren't actually. Just sounds a lot like Enya. Although, i'd be very surprised (pleasantly of course) if they'd written those vocals themselves.

Get it into your head - we are not haterz! We are just concerned and worried about the band we love but once loved so much more.

Anything but haters. I used the term "concerned fans" in the SOS topic which is much more accurate. I think you'd react in a similar fashion if i called you "a blind fanatic", which is equally inappropriate.

I became a fan after nessaja and joined the forum about a year ago. A few months later I saw my first live gig.

I love their music but sometimes I think the fans in this forum are too negative. :) If they are fans they should act like fans. Right? :)

And how exactly should a fan act? Obsessively love absolutely everything the band produces. Give the band the highest praise whenever possible whatever they do. Sit back and allow Scooter to become progressively more predictable and uncreative.

Look, am a Liverpool fan. If i criticise my team for a bad performance or lambast a player for not showing enough commitment, does that make me not a Liverpool fan? No, if anything it's the opposite because it shows i want my team to be doing well. Almost exactly the same applies to Scooter. I.e. Proper fans give criticism when they believe it's due. Fair enough, if you don't think Scooter can or should be criticised at the moment then that's your personal opinion, like it is mine.

Post has a very good point, and i have said the same to a few of my mates.
But i think it is a bit harsh as it starts a forum war going on.

But then, we have to remember, every one has their tastes. You say we all like them better than the originals. This is not true as alot of said opposite to this.
I feel your pain though.

Pjad, you write much intelligent stuff and your expression about "concerned fans" might be better than my term, but I think all you fans who are concerned about Scooter have a too negative attitude. I think you forget to see the positive and for some it appears to become a "sport" to complain (might not apply to you) about scooter and that is really annoying and causes that little repect for your concerned community

I'm not too negative. I feel i'm being as negative as i need to be.

I'm listening to Posse right now and i'm loving it. I love Posse, it's a wicked track!! But why can't Scooter come up with something as amazing that doesn't sound like something they've already done before?

Scooter have so much talent to burn. So much originality, so much creativity. Why have these qualities disappeared?

Suavemente and Shake That were songs that aren't similar to any previous Scooter track and yet, people used to complain why Scooter released such unconventional stuff...

Have you noticed that we are not talking about single tracks. Scooter as a whole hasn't changed. We need evolving. But we don't mean with it unscooterish stuff like Shake That and Suavemente. You know you can evolve even with your old sound. That's what happened with older Scooter. New sound for every album but still it sounded Scooter.
Waiting for albums from Way Out West, Sasha, Second Sun, Airwave, BT, Quivver, Pendulum, Solarstone, Röyksopp and Massive Attack
