Intro:
Well it has some nice and peaceful church music and that nice peeping Lights Out. No bad words about intro itself. I just don’t understand why there must be break before Hello.
Hello! (Good To Be Back):
I have always said that this sounds too much like One Part II. It would have been nice if Scooter would have changed this track a bit. Right now it still sounds One Part II. And sorry Mantas. Unfortunately I think that chorus with live-guitar doesn’t sound anymore so catchy when you can’t hear electric guitar so great.
I’m Raving:
Okay in this point some really really bad words. What the hell have Scooter been thinking. Why do they put “Coming at ya like cleopatra!” here. I was already expecting for Aiii Shot The DJ and then came piano melodies of I’m Raving. I understand that gig is cut but that thing is f*king ridiculous. I’m Raving itself isn’t bad one. I just would like to hear extended version with TB-303. Sounds after I’m Raving are not bad. I like those.
Apache Rocks The Bottom:
ARTB is still average. H.P. shouts but Rock Bottom and Apache still don’t fit together. That is one thing they could have also changed into this concert. And who have mixed part when ARTB and Rock Bottom changes. That sounds amateurish into my ear. And then comes just those most awful parts of Rock Bottom. German trance-melodies. German cheese-melodies. Argh. Rotter rotter rotter rotter dam dam dam sounds stupid also live.
The Leading Horse:
This was most pleasant surprise of the album. I still hate album version but Scooter made this whole different track. Even though HPV still is annoying track has gotten into lot better. I think I maybe even like it. Just why they didn’t release this version in album? Of course everything can’t be right. H.P. really is losing his voice in the end of the track. H.P. you should smoke less.
Shake That!:
Intro doesn’t sound too bad. Otherwise it is still the same b*llshit it has always been. Oh you did have rush H.P. in the beginning? You had lot of time to shout in the beginning but you still were late. Well chorus is still catchy but track is still bad.
Panties Wanted:
Oh I wanted so much that this track would have been also changed. Totally bad The Leading Horse sounded great when it was updated. But this is still as bad as it was in the MTG. Is Jay in love with this version? I’m sure that I’m not. Electric guitar gives nice touch here but overall this is very bad track. But vocals fits: “yes mr. DJ you got the real shit”. That’s what I felt. But I am interested. Did anyone throw panties or bras into the stage?
Weekend!:
Finally horror of really bad tracks has ended. I still like Weekend even in album. Of course Scooter didn’t have then big bunch tracks which would have used eurodance melodies. But why this is just like album version? I would like to hear something that wasn’t already in TSTE.
Stripped:
Intro is great. I like it. I actually waited that H.P. singing would be just horrible experience. It wasn’t so good I have to admit but it still wasn’t horrible. I was probably at the time of MTG one of the few people who liked this. I think that this is good one. Of course it would be better vocalist than H.P. but you can’t get everything. By the way what was that enormous “YEAH!” in the middle and in the end? H.P. isn’t singing so loud and then comes very loud shout.
Maria (I Like It Loud):
Hehe. Nice drums in the beginning. And crowd is shouting dub-dub-dub. Actually H.P.’s voice didn’t sound so bad in this one. Even though it sounds like H.P. is having flu it somehow fits into that background. Track does have a lot of energy which is why it sounds pretty good even though it is very simple. Oh. And Baxxter lost his voice with second dub-dub.
The Chaser / Jigga Jigga!:
This one sounds pretty promising. Two pretty good vocaltrance tracks. The Chaser has brilliant female vocals and it has that one great melody. Jigga Jigga! then again was last Scooter-single I have really enjoyed. It has many great (robbed) melodies. Only bad words comes that The Chaser moved to Jigga Jigga! too suddenly and it was bit odd.
Nessaja:
This is the track my mother has listened in the last weeks pretty much. Luckily she listens it only with mp3-player so I’m not tired about this one yet. Once again nothing surprising with this track. Just radio edit with catchy melodies and pretty good HPV.
One (Always Hardcore):
This is track that is good to play live. Crowd can sing with it. I think that this track has lost something after it’s release. It doesn’t sound as fresh as when it was released. I blame those clones for that. Those clones which walks with the name of Hello and Seven Bridges. Well it is still pretty good track but Scooter would have already figured something new. And H.P. really needs break.
Fire:
Well this is bit modified. Intro of the track is very nice. Track sounds very different with live-guitar. It’s not maybe as good as it was in the original version but it is good thing to hear something different. And Fire is still great track. But did H.P. really had to try to shout “radical MC H.P. got the melody” as long as possible when he runs out of air?
Hyper Hyper:
Haipa haipa! Obviously this was that older version when they didn’t mention Tiësto or Starsplash. That’s just a good thing. They doesn’t deserve to get mentioned. But Mark Spoon was there. Still pretty sad thing to thing that he is now dead. Well even though this track isn’t so great it is still classic that needs to be played. So put your hands in the air!
Move Your Azz!:
Another classic that needs to be played. There’s no good Scooter concert without this and Hyper Hyper. It is good to end concert into this track. It gives very positive feeling. Once again I would have liked to hear some new sounds even though there was some nice synths before the end.
Overall I like to say that I’m bit disappointed about H.P.’s voice. There’s not that much power left like there was in Encore or even in We Like It Loud-tour. And in some tracks H.P. really losts his voice. Too much smoking maybe? Anyway even though my review probably sounds very negative I just wanted to show the things I don’t like. So this might sound more negative than I really think about album. To me the biggest problem is still those missing tracks but you can’t put all tracks to the cd. My rating still would be better if 2nd chapter tracks like Fuck The Millennium or How Much is The Fish would have been here. And of course they should have put Aiii Shot The DJ to the cd when there already was opening phrase. Also here are too many bad tracks in the beginning and also too many average tracks even though cd went better in the end. That doesn’t leave too much great tracks so I have made my conclusion.
6/10
PS. 1/10 would have been worst possible
Edit: No animals were hurt while making this review. Only thing which was eliminated was 1,5 l Sprite.
