Which World Cup are you watching, Spock? Argentina have been by far the most impressive so far. And Germany couldn't even keep a clean sheet against Coata Rica, something that T&T managed against Sweden.

Germany and Argentina are supposed to have show the best performances so far. but you can't blame England. seriously, if you are a quite good team, you wouldn't play at top performace against an average opponent, would you? I assume that England didn't show their best on purpose...

What? :?:

I've already said England played below par and i've explained the reasons for that. England have not shown their best so far and, out of those that have played so far, they haven't been the best.

Also remember, England played in the mid afternoon sun in Frankfurt. Germany played in the early evening when it was much cooler. I'm not making excuses for England, but that was bound to have an effect on England's performance.

Germany have not been the best side in the tourament so far. And i strongly doubt whether they'll be the best when it finishes. The same goes for England unless they don't sort things out.

I mean: a game gets analyzed by all sorts of teams. Every team, be it the Frenchies, the jerries ( ) or the argentinian kickers, watch the performance of the other teams. And against an average team like uruguay england wouldn't show all their tricks. i guess they want to be underestimated by all those "unfriendly analyzers". get my point?

MAYBE Germany showed a bad defensive line as well just to guve the wrong impression and when it comes to playing against a REAL team they improve their defence while the opponents did not really expect that...

what u think?

My impression of yesterday:
Mexico good, Portugal poor. Mexico will win that group. The Netherlands were as lucky as England.

For today:
BIG RESPECT TO AUSTRALIA!!!!!!!
0-1 with a goal that shouldn´t count.
1-1 Cahill (84.)
2-1 Cahill (88.)
3-1 Aloisi (92.)
That was so much fun watching. This strong will was just amazing. The 3 goals were their first World Cup goals ever!

Yeah it wouldn't surprise me either. I don't know why everyone thought Poland would be so great. Or is the only reason that Poland is european country? Damn I don't even think that Poland is so much better than Finland in football. And we haven't even made it to the WC or EC.

But Finland haven't got too many well known footballers... The best player was Litmannen, Kollka also is good, but who else?

Poland - we played really bad with Ecuador. Our star-player Zurawski played bad, our playmaker Szymkowiak disposition isn't good. That's sad, but we haven't got chance with Germany...

But remember - two German strikers Klose and Podolski are born in Poland :)

Ah, Jari Litmannen. One of the greats. He didn't play for Liverpool for very long but he still one of my favourite Liverpool players. Real magic on his day.

And there's Sami Hyypia, also a legendary Finish player. A Liverpool great also.

I don't think so. Even if the Aussies lose to Brazil i think they'll make it out of the group into the second round.
