The live played E-guitar at Fire sounds really poor. It sounds a little bit like fruity loops guitar emulation.
And again no partial synth live playing try at tracks like they did at AOL NTTC or SHEFFIELD tour. Just another (live)-playback record with only live vocals like encore or we like it loud releases... :?
H.P.'s voice was live never the best, but this time he really sounds horrible. he can't hold his voice stable at almost every track... I really hate this high-filter megaphone vocal sound they use now at every track. They should better use old microphone again at studio with clear voice.

And he smokes as hell, it destroys his voice too.
I've never considered H.P. as a good singer, especially when he tries to be romantic, I think he just can't make it like e.g. Break it up, She's the sun, Stripped,...

Of course I can't judge from the samples but there wasn't nearly any live-elements. There were just few of them. They just sounds playback-versions of album tracks with just H.P. shouting live.

And what happened to Baxxter's voice. It sounded better in We Like It Loud-tour and Encore  His voice just sounds bad in couple of tracks.
Waiting for albums from Way Out West, Sasha, Second Sun, Airwave, BT, Quivver, Pendulum, Solarstone, Röyksopp and Massive Attack

Now I listened to samples...

Firstly, as I already said, H.P.'s voice is destroyed because of smoking.I know how voice changes when you smoke, I also did, but I stopped, but H.P. smokes as hell and now his voice sounds like he has thousand of wounds in his lungs, which is in fact true. His voice lost all echo and power and now sounds like he's torturing himself when he sings. He must shout Yeah really powerful to be loud!Man, how terrible Stripped sounds...And I didn't understand that he shouts Fire, I understood it from the melody, but he was almost speechless. Now I understand why they use powerful voice on albums to override difficulties with H.P.'s bad voice.

Secondly, I'm not good at recognizing whether music is played live or not, but everything sounds completely the same as on the albums, no own variations, so I assume that it's mostly played playback.Disappointment!

I listened to samples.

H.P. voice sounds very good to me. I know that it's sounds awful but I like it. Except vocal in "I'm Raving" and "Stripped" - maybe one more cigarette mr. Baxxter?

What I noticed is a little different version of "The Leading Horse" - sounds much better than album version. And live guitar in "Fire" sounds nice.

What is bad for me, is the fact that they played such a shit like "Panties Wanted". I don't like it, it's my opinion (BTW, question to people whose listen Scooter at least since 1995 like me: is this{Panties Wanted} really a Scooter sound?), but what is worst it's just a copy. There are many good tracks that they should play instead of it.
I also don't like the opener track. "Posse (I Need You On The Floor)" and "Maria (I Like It Loud)" were great opener tracks. I can't say the same about "Hello! (Good To Be Back)". It's nice production but the refrain sounds so bad that I can't believe that this is Scooter  ...wait a minute, I forgot - there is something worst - other last two singles "Suavemente" and "Apache Rocks The Bottom!".

I won't even download this cd. Waste of time.

HP sounds fine to me. Remember that these tracks are recorded in big arenas -- the sound gets distorted there because of all the crowd noises, echoing, and high volume bass. Then, the actual recording causes yet more harm to the quality, and finally, mp3 samples uploaded to some web store are most probably stored in the lowest possible quality to save space. They don't match the cd quality at all. I'm sure it'll sound a lot better on the actual cd, representing the quality of We Like It Loud tour cd that came with Mind the Gap deluxe. Although this doesn't sound that bad to me, either.
 This is a signature.

I like that Live Tracks... only that Guitar in Fire is a little bit strange...

I only listened to the samples on my computer - and I like them :) - I think I need to hear the whole album in better quality before I can say any more - but I'm looking forward to it

So?
Most live-albums are recorded late in the tour, as the band is tighter then.
In the case of playback, this would not be neccessary..
And there's a lot of older singers who play around 100 dates/tour and their voices are just fine throughout.
