Stuff on the new dvd

I apologize if all this has already been said somewhere or links posted to this or whatever, but here it goes anyways.. I just browsed around edel.fi ('edel records Finland' web page), and there on Excess All Areas dvd's page
http://www.edel.fi/album/albumShow.aspx?id=c47bfa3b-f3a4-42f9-a5f5-2d1c9621ca13
is a link Scooter - Excess All Areas 2DVD Tracklist .txt, so I obviously clicked it to see what kinda stuff there'll be. Here's a direct link to that file:
http://www.edel.fi/fileDownload.aspx?id=e12b3200-8381-4dcd-a239-4e3777e612fd

According to that piece of txt there'll be along the full concert and all the single videos the following features:

Backstage report (from the concert)
On stage perspective on selected tracks (from concert)
Fan interviews
Tour diary
One (Always Hardcore) Rick J. Jordan's Director's Cut (cool! :D)
Band commentary on all videos (awesome, hopefully there's English subtitles!)
Making ofs

Can't wait for this stuff! :D 8)

this tracklist is incomplete; check out the picturs from the diary and you will see hp singing am fenster; aii shot the dj is also missing.
apparently, when the tracks have been mixed with others, they only put the main name :?

But Manana was mixed with Fuck The Millennium - neither are on the list - they can't possibly leave that off the DVD :( :( :(

and personally I would rather have an interview with the band than fans

I hope you're right - I would rather have the whole concert without some of the extras than a cut concert :?

I guess in 2 weeks we will know for sure

I'm pretty sure the concert can be viewed as whole, as it was performed, and that it hasn't been cut into pieces.. I'm really hoping to hear those special mixes and stuff.

There can be several reasons for this kind of naming;
1. Some guy working in the record company or whatever is producing this dvd can't distinguish Scooter songs that well and doesn't know where some special mix begins or ends, and has thus name it all this way, the easy way, carefully avoiding naming all the tracks and casually only naming the melodies and sounds s/he recognizes as beginnings of individual tracks.
2. It may be that this was some Scooter's internal plan for playing the tracks, where they haven't detailedly chosen where to do the mixes or stuff like that, and it just ended up that way to those who made the dvd.
3. This may not be final info, and is just incomplete due some mistake or misunderstanding of the tracks, or general laziness. Or some edel employee just listening the dvd and trying to make a list that isn't official.

And so on. There can be other reasons too. :D

Edit: I just realized there'll be Stripped on this dvd! Great! 8)

Hope you are right.

Fuck The Millennium / Manana was a great mix (and they are 2 of my favourite tracks), and the instrumental session with Rick and Jay was just fantastic, also the dancers were really good during Trance-Atlantic :)

it would be EXTREMELY hard to edit a DVD to join together, the DVD should have the whole concert, the ALBUM probably wont

I agree with Spock and ozscooter.

I never expected the whole concert on the CD, as its a single CD - but it just MUST all be on the DVD

LOL and what if the missing tracks are only on the CD? And on DVD are some that aren't on CD. Think about it. You have to buy both. Commercial Alert!

I would prefer all tracks on both, and will be buying both - not only as a collector - but I think for me the DVD and CD have a very different use. I will listen to the CD a lot in the car etc.

I will watch the DVD when I have time to sit down, concentrate and enjoy it. 8) :)

Things like fan interviews I might watch once to see if there's anyone I know - but I certainly won't watch that part every time I play the DVD

The CD will almost certainly not have the full concert.

Come on guys don't complain about not complete concert on DVD... I know that you will buy it anyway so it's senseless to whine about it now.

have you ever bought something that satisfied you to 80 % or something???
Like e.g a supa-dupa car with only one flaw which you just could ignore???

Thats true - I guess most purchases are like that - its not often you get something that is completey 100% what you have always wanted :)

I still believe that the whole concert will be on the DVD though :D

Btw, what is wrong with collecting? I guess you don't have any answers to that either... You just enjoy saying crap about your former favourite band. Way to go!
