If they asked me whether I loved HP, I'd be honest......YES!!! He's a legend, seems down to earth....

I think all the fans asked said yes :)

but don't forget Rick and Jay - they are the ones who stop most often to spend time talking to fans :)

Then you know him very bad, it's the opposite, he's 'high in the sky', perhaps you don't know the story when he was very arrogant in the interview in Hungary, maybe you can find it using Search option on the forum.

And many times after the concerts he just doesn't have time to spend with fans, because he's too tired or he finds some other excuses. In media he always looks very nice & friendly, but there were enough proofs on the forum and from own experiences that he isn't so nice guy.

Rick&Jay are nice and more 'down to earth'.

I don't really care about H.P.'s character because I listen to Scooter because of music, he can be alcoholic or married 15 times if he wants, but just to let you know, he's not so perfect.

Some say that lyrics don't mean anything by Scooter, but lyrics always reflect the author if you compare lyrics from the beginning of Scoote till now, you can see his ego changing a lot.

I think the reality is that we only see the performer on stage - we know nothing about the person in private, and thats probably the way it should be - all performers should have a public and a private side to their life :)

But I guess Simone would not be about to marry him if he were not a nice person. :)

I have to say I have met him a few times and he has always been great with me, but Rick and Jay always seem much more down to earth as you say - but I have to say on the tour I had a degree of sympathy for H.P. - it was him everyone wanted to see - he could probably not get out of his car after a concert without being "mobbed" by a large number of fans - and I doubt he can walk down the street unrecognised in peace, I would imagine that Rick and Jay probably can most of the time - I think it must be quite difficult at times being the "public face" of the group.

Now he isn't same H.P. like in 1st or 2nd chapter. Just look at the interviews or gigs. Especially with Axel, HP was very funny and they makes some jokes. There aren't any interview when they weren't laugh...

I know exactly what you mean, scenes like these:

But it's not only H.P. for me, Rick was also more powerfull on stage and more funny at interviews these times.

From the 90's until 2000/2001 H.P. was extremly more down to earth guy like today. But after they had a short time big international success(even UK) with Posse, Ramp, Nessaja he developed more and more to a pretender-diva with a lot star preciousness.
And his lyrics contain also more and more self-praising today. In past he said we are the greatest now most times I'm the biggest... or don't mess with me...
I think he's getting a victim of music business. Too much fame and money, it seems a little bit that he forgot his origin. I really became something like a disfavour for H.P. because he changed his down to earth person so extremly too a show diva. It seems that only Rick is still himself after 12 years Scooter, that's 1 reason why i like him more like big famed H.P. today.

And now he's also doing more show on stage instead of powerfull performance. In past he jumped on stage like a maniac with a t-shirt. Today he's standing there like the big diva with fur coat, sceptre and is only posing instead of freaking out on stage with the guys and making jokes like in past.

Do you remeber Fuck The Millenium live at Club Rotation Birthday Party? This show wasn't live (playback), but they maked cool show: destoy the piano, Mulder on stage, H.P. jumping with Rick... Now performances in tv are boring... Now they have to use a lot o pyros and half-naked dancers... In the past shows was without that, but there were much better

Maybe there are some rules in the background which we don't see, ewhich e.g. state, that destruction of musical equipment during live preformances is prohibited due to attempts to reduce violence on tv, etc...

@wholaughsnow: I like that you poste former Scooter-interviews,etc. but what is the non-german community supposed to do with it? Don't oresent them in English language when they do not contain English language!

I would like to know where this info comes from (and I don't mean DJ Hooligans site :) )

I hope the date is true - but I really don't think it will be so soon myself, and the name - nice - but reminds me a lot of Jean-Michel Jarre who has also Revolution :?
