Beliefs

Just as the name says, beliefs.
What do you all believe in?

A higher force?
God?
Satan?

Or are you fans of nature?
The heathens believes of old, or witchcraft?

Hm.. dangerous ground, tread lightly.. wouldn't surprise me if Artwork will be here in a minute preaching about something. I'm pretty much atheist but the coolest religion would seem to be the old Asa belief, the vikings belief ya know. They had some cool shit goin on.
In conclusion, you're absoloutely wrong

Good to see that you guys dont fall in to any of that rubbish known as orgainised religion. Thats right, rubbish. I dare any Catholic to show me proof of what they believe. No proof? Then its rubbish. If I went to the newspaper and tried to publish something I just made up as fact...it wouldnt happen. They would ask for proof. Without that they would say that Im simply making it up. Why, I ask, is orgainised religion exempt from the process of logic?

No big surprise there.

Personally, I live by my own rules.
I'm closest to Satanism, actually.

Well, I don't know wether to agree or disagree. Since I'm not an atheist, I don't doubt the fact that God exists... but without scientifical explainations, I won't consider myself as a believer.

I believe in living the life in a way that makes a maximum amount of people to be maximum happy. :P

Easy as nothing. If God exists, he'd be happy with it. If he doesn't, well, I've made my contribution to make the world a better place to be.

Do you know anything about Satanism?
First of all, I'm not a satanist. But I only believe in me. Nothing else.
And that's more Satanism than anything else.

Satanism has nothing to do with Satan, or rituals or anything like that.
It's all about making decisions in life, that's good for you and noone else.
Why is that sick?

Yes, the name is very misleading.
As I said, it has nothing at all to do with Satan. Nothing.

I don't believe in God or any higher force. Propably only religion that I see something reasonable is buddhish with it's rebirths and so on. But sorry to say, I don't have any reason to believe higher powers. I am yet lutherian bit I think I soon will leave the church. I don't want to give my money to some institution which I don't propably ever need.
Waiting for albums from Way Out West, Sasha, Second Sun, Airwave, BT, Quivver, Pendulum, Solarstone, Röyksopp and Massive Attack

If you believe only in yourself you sound more like a Solipsist, to me. That is naturally only if you think yourself being the only existence.

Anyways;

Logic is only a human invention. It doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the reality. I could easily make up a logic of my own in which things that were false in your logic would be true in mine.
The whole proofing is a bit shaky in my opinion. One can never really proof anything. It's absurd. (Or prove me wrong..) Most people believing in proofs change their views all the time when something new is discovered and a new theory made.

Besides, in religion one believes in something. It needs no proofs. That seems to be what the most atheists are unable to realize. I can't see how you could prove some religion being false, either. :P

Anyways, I rather believe in God (I'm Lutheran as well) than in some chaotic particles that have just appeared out of nowhere (or alternatively always been there (or yet alternatively accepting an explanation like 'science is not meant to answer this kind of questions')). And, I don't want to hear any scientists' opinions, I pity them.
 This is a signature.
