Tales of Fantasy - Alien Syndrome (Radio Edit)

I recently restarted a remake of an old track of mine which has been posted here. I plan on making a single type release. I did a single type thing in the past, and being that I am in school I would like to focus on making single type lay-outs, instead of songs that would be more fitting as an album.

I am going to be looking for remixes, and anyone who remixes my track I will do a remix of one of yours. I did this last time, I had about 8 tracks total (3 remixes, a radio edit, an extended mix, 2 remixes by me, and a b-side). It was nice. So, if anyone is interested...listen to the song first, if you think it's worth remixing, e-mail me. I will probably be updating it.

Enjoy.

Tales of Fantasy - Alien Syndrome (Radio Edit)

by the way, my e-mail is djpunch@gmail.com

I'll e-mail you the midi file along with samples I used in the song, but I recommend you use some of your own drum samples if you are going to remix this track.

Sorry Dave, but I did not sequence and compose this song in flstudio...I used Cubase...but if you want, I can send you the original song it was based off of. It has the same Main melody, but everything else is different. The Leads, the different parts, many things are different but I plan on having a different mix using the original song...so if you want, let me know and I can send you that.

If you want to work with the remake though, midi is the best I can do. I rewired Cubase to flstudio to hold drum samples. So, the flp file of the remake is just a flp with drum samples and no patterns or anything.

yeah, I could do that. I can send in mp3 format because I have trouble exporting wavs in Cubase. I think it's a glitch with the version I have...but I can do that easily. Expect that by today or tomorrow.

eey tales,

nice song! sounds are good, mixing is ok! all is good :D the only thing is that the song is a bit chaotic in my eyes  not kinda my style  but continue like this and you're going to make it

ow just one last question (maybe its a very stupid one): is this already a result of your dj-experience or 'just' a own produced song?

Nice work. I like this track. Cool melody. Synths are too loud for my ears in some moments but overall it's a very good track.

Dave, I sent you a sample of the main melody....

The song is a result of constantly messing around with music programs for 4 to 5 years. I started messing around with flstudio in 2001.

I only started using dj software recently, and it's completely different than producing your own tracks or even doing remixes for that matter.

I am insanely busy as of now because of a serious matter in my family that occured Sunday night.

Take your time, because I might not have everything put together for while (redesigning my site, doing remixes myself, and doing two other mixes of Alien Syndrome).

I might update the radio edit, thanks for the reviews on the track and the comments....I will have an extended mix, but right now I am working on a Race mix that will sound a bit different than the radio edit...actually, it will sound more like the original version (somewhat like the original). Peace.
