We'll probably look back at this topic in a week's time, laugh and say "how did we ever think Scooter would cover Gary Glitter? - how stupid was that?"

Haha! I kinda like the song. But lets wait till we hear the samples before saying it will suck or not. If it is indeed a cover of this, I know it'll rock because there is so much potential for this track. :) I have faith in Scooter.

P.S. Scooterusa, yes it's him.

but I just hate the thought of Gary Glitter ( ) making any money out of Scooters version of his song.

And i hate the thought that Scooter making a lot of more money with Gary Glitters song like Gary Glitter himself. I really don't know why a lot of people pre order every Scooter cd blind. If they really covered this track it's just a proof that they don't give a damn to big fan wishes for a own made song. I don't support this easy money making with remakes with my money anymore. Even if it's a brilliant version. If people buy remakes again and again they will never stop this. And further 10 years just remake singles? This should be everything?

Ok it's not confirmed yet, but i have a very strong suspicion that they covered Gary Glitter. But after all this month of studio work and waiting just another remake? This would be a bad leading sign for new album.

If it's Oasis cover, then Scooter should get ready for serious offense from them. Those guys don't count anybody, they cursing everyone publicly.
So Scooter should be aware of this fact.It won't go without Oasis bad-mouthing them all over the media.

WOW some hours ago I read from the Admin that the information about the new single was wrong and now it is confirmed. :D

Cool finally we have a date for the single and for an album too. :D

So,I assumed the single would be on 7.10,I was really close about this one.Only missed by a week.
I remember getting the message from Sebastian telling me that since October all singles will be on Friday,so I thought there's a reason why he said to me about singles release day since in October. Then I thought it would be the first Friday of October. So I was really close.

That's not possible Authist. There are still too much fanatics (sorry for the word but i don't find another word for this) which buy every cd again and again even if it's the thousandth classic remake. I can understand if someone don't give a damn if it's a cover. But those people keep the Scooter cover machine alive and support them to have big success with not self creative music again and again. And the guys know this and as long they earn enough money with those remakes they will continue with this. Maybe a lot of people don't give a damn to it. But for fans with musical honour this isn't acceptable permanent.

I know that nothing is confirmed yet, but the chance that it's a remake is much bigger like they finally exert their own brains just one time. I really hoped that they present finally a own single after this long time, but all my hopes come down to earth.

Whose wishes? Many people on this forum said that they don't give a damn if it will be cover. And I ask many people yesterday and the answer was the same.

Talk by yourselve, not everyone. However I don't really remember Scooter track not made by Scooter (except "Panties Wanted"...)

Maybe it's really hard to produce new sounds with the synths that havent developed at the same rate as in the 90s?
So it's hard to make up new music because all is the same sounds anyway. There's nowhere to progress and evelop any more.
Why I say this? Because I read in the news that inventor and developer of first synth died today at the age 71,Robert Moog.

They like Scooter and they have they right to like whatever they want.
So stop talking shits about Scooter because there are only few people with your opinion, and all the rest don't want to hear it all the time for sure.

I ask again: who force you to listen Scooter if you hate them (seems to be) nowdays so much?

For me Scooter begins to get unnecessary...i think that i wont buy the new Single if it is again a Cover...Cover are not hard 2 make, every musician can do that!

"Mind the Gap" was a Flop and i really think that the next Album will be the last one, for me it is now Time to leave Scooter after 12 years!
I dont want to listen to any other 0815-work again!

Enough is enough!

Thats all i have to say about this Cover-Topic for da future!

Just because of some covers you would be ready to leave Scooter?!?! I find that rather silly... I would never stop being a fan. I'm sure i will listen Scooter as long as a live... :)

But i say it sure would be great to have another 100% Scooter-production but what can you do?

Indeed, in case new single is a cover, I'm not going to buy it in any case.I know it'll be sold great and let it be, but I'll sure not buy it, it's a remake signed with name Scooter.

Not all dance/electro artists cover, so seems that own development is very possible.

I believe it's a cover of an old Rock & Roll track from
Gary Glitter which is called "Hello! Hello! I'm Back Again"

There's also a Death-Punk-version of this track by Turbonegro, i read about it here http://designermagazine.tripod.com/TurbonegroLIVEREV1.html
