Sorry if I misread you pjad. I don't think Scooter would be Scooter without HP. If Rick and Jay were to go on alone, they would guaranteed make great music, but it wouldn't be Scooter anymore, at least not for me. Could work as Ratty but not Scooter.

Oh, no problem, Liss.

And maybe you are right. Maybe it would be better if Rick and Jay continued producing under the name Ratty rather than Scooter when Scooter comes to an end. How about, after Scooter, a Ratty album?

Please stop writing about the end from Scooter and what will happen after Scooter, I get depressions.

At the time from their 10. anniversary they say they will make another 10 years music.
So I hope all 3 will do it least of all H.P. and Rick. :D

Sorry :P ...

Seriously, Scooter will carry on going for a long long time. I just hope that they chose the right time to end the Scooter project and i hope it's a natural end and not a messy split or a sudden/shock disappearance (Which i'm sure it won't be...)

I know none of you want to think about it, hear about it or even imagine it... but there will come a time when it is best to "end the Scooter project". A time will come when, for whatever reason, it is best that Scooter finish.

Scooter might exhast all their ideas or they feel their music is clearly lacking in comparison to previous times... they may feel they've tried everything there is to try... H.P. or Rick may feel that performing is taking it's toll on them and they aren't cut out for it any more... their popularity might be at an all time high and they feel they want to end on that high... their popularity might be on a downer and they want to end Scooter before the great name they have built up loses all credibility... they may get to a point where they just don't have the motivation or drive to be Scooter anymore...

I personally don't want Scooter to carry on just for the sake of carrying on. I honestly believe that, no matter how good something is, there is always the danger you can, as us English say, "do it to death". I think it would be a real shame if the great project we see before us is tainted by continuing beyond it's "sell-by-date"...

But, as i've said, this "best time to end" is a long long way off yet as everything appears rosy (although not perfect) in the Scooter garden.

Not at all, you said things very clearly in the main paragraph.Scooter will just have to stop exist one day and I also hope that they will still be respected on their last day instead of finishing like a band which sunk to the ground and was once very-well known.

About Rick.....We can not compare Rick and Baxxter objectively.Rick is doing musical part, H.P. is performer. It's not fair to say >Rick is better than H.P< because they have a different role in the band.

I like what is Rick doing right now and I think that he likes to listen to old orchestral melodies to get some ideas for covers

You know, there is a groups that existed for 20 or 30 years, and their music is popular always. The best example is Queen. Their songs sometimes similar, but they are good. Scooter was good till No time to chill. Now albums contain 90% of covers. But I still think they must go on. They have lack of creativity, and if they`ll change the name of groupe it doesn`t change them, so it`s not nessesary.

Many bands have gone on for a very very long time. Sometimes 20/30 years. If Scooter go on for 30 years then that's great. But i only wanna see Scooter go on for 30 years if that's best for Scooter.

When the right time comes, when they feel that Scooter has come to a natural conclusion... they must end it. Whether that is in 5 years, or 10 years or 15 years or 40 years it doesn't matter, as long as it's the right time to go.

It's no good judging Scooter's possible longevity by looking at the Scooter you see today. Things never stay the same. We cannot predict what changes will take place. And so we can't predict when the band should end... tomorrow, next year, 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, whatever... as long as that time is the right time.

Rick and H.P. are very good friends as I have understood correct and Scooter is THEIR product so there's no Scooter without both these guys. Rick is very very talented and very cool guy but I cannot say there's "the coolest member" of Scooter... Scooter is cool altogether IMO!

Uff...I must say that I'm glad that opinions of people here are not opinion of all posse from all over the world. If everybody have opinions about Scooter like some people here Scooter would stop exist years ago.

I thought that Scooter forum is for people that like Scooter, but looks like people whose really like Scooter don't care about forum opinions and don't write here anything (like me before).

Someone of you will say that I'm talking shit because you all like Scooter.
I don't think so.
It's strange for me that someone who said that Scooter is bad now, H.P. lirycs are stupid, Scooter will end etc. , call himself Scooter fan.

You know, in my opinion if something is bad or stupid for me (like H.P. lyrics for some of you) I don't like it and I just don't listen to it.

I listen to Scooter because I like Scooter. If the day when I will notice that I don't like something in Scooter will come, I probably won't listen Scooter anymore.

You see, in 2000 I used to like VERY much Bomfunk MC's. But nowdays I don't like them anymore - the music is changed and it's not the same (however the new single is good, I want to listen the new album). And because of that I don't come to their forum and complain, repeat again and again that I don't like them, in 2000 they were better etc.

Another thing is that someone said that DJ's broke Scooter's vinyls to pieces...I don't really understand, I visit so many clubs, and I always hear Scooter tracks, and guys are very popular there.
Even in radio on DJ's charts Scooter tracks reached high positions (Planeta FM for example: The Logical Song #1, Maria (I Like It Loud) #2, Jigga Jigga! #1, Shake That! #1, One (Always Hardcore) #1 for a veeeeery long time....).

And I don't notice that the situation in Germany is different (I'm from Poland).

And last thing.

H.P. "puppet"? What a thing to say.

H.P. is author of many Scooter tracks ideas, and thing about it - he work in studio at least for 11 years (with Scooter), I'm sure that he learn how to produce, even a little.

That's my opinion and point of view about those things.

You have a strange definition of verb 'to like', seems to me.If I don't like Scooter covering and I'm against it, that still does not mean I don't like Scooter. They have done many great tracks in the past (especially instrumentals) and I love these songs, but new stuff is based on covers, ripp-offs, borrowed lyrics, Scooter own ideas are not included.

You also seem to have a strange definition about 'fan'.You can not judge who is fan and who is not according to your opinion.I haven't said(but I know that some did) that Scooter will end because of covering, I think this won't happen because many of dance artists do covers and are on the stage, but isn't it better to hear own Scooter work. It's great feeling if you know that this track is made completely by Scooter.I can't help myself but whenever I enter my room and see MTG among my CD's, I see one big bunch of covers, ripp-offs in front of me.Especially when I listened to original songs, I dislike MTG more and more.

Idea is probably his, but his lyrics in past times are very bad.Everyone can construct lyrics like "I am the...I do....I have....I am.....I do.....I've been..."and then it's not strange that many people think that Scooter is one person!Suavemente, One, and most lyrics on TSTE is about H.P., like he's singing always about himself. And if he's not singing about himself, then text is borrowed ("Ripping up the B" e.g. and lyrics from Posse are not his stuff).

I like Scooter, but not as much as I've liked them when there were Axel and Ferris-especially Ferris.

Go to the "Trance-atlantic" topic. I'm hearing songs that Pitschifter called "orginal versions of Scooter "rip-offs" one by one and noticing that not every track's are "rip-offs"

Rubbish. MTG contains mostly Scooter work, like on every Scooter album.
You shouldn't believe everything what some guys are writting.

You want lyrics about love or something....? So as you say, you don't like lyrics = wchich means big part of Scooter work, so you don't like Scooter so much.
As I say :)

Lyrics are just great nowdays, better than ever. It's a part of Scooter cool style, so if you don't like them.... :D

For me lyrics from NTTC or BTTHJ compared to lyrics from nowdays are "weak".

And I like Scooter the same, as I like them when I first heard "Hyper Hyper". For me they are better from year to year. (except "Suavemente", "Panties Wanted" :) )

I think you didn't really understand what I was tryied to say Butcher.

@Skobom

1)Where Butcher said that he wants love lyrics?Do you think only lyrics that exist, are about "I" and Love???You changed his words to your own 'benefit'

2)You want to start a disscusion but you are so impatient and arrogant that if someone disagrees with you, you attack him!?!?!?

3)Where did he tell you that you are wrong? He also expressed his point of view and then you attacked him.

You are the one who was telling him that he's wrong, you are the one who's attacking. You want to start a disscusion, but disscusion just can't be, if you think that everyone agrees with you and then you are pissed off, when someone looks things different.

Next time think 10t-times before posting anything, because you look really.....I won't say!
