@Sandra

I donīt know what to say, but i donīt want to be quiet, i really donīt like see you depressed, i know the losing of a love one is one of the worst things that can happen, and only the time can close the hurt.
Youīve got people who love you and they are they will help you in those moments, sharing these feelings would help you a lot, itīs one of the most wonderful things that live have, see all the people that will be with you when you really need it.

Give it time Sandra, it's just a few weeks ago.
and don't ignore your sad feelings, it's very normal to feel this "pain", I ignored it in the beginning and thats not good. It hits you even harder anytime later.
After 2 years I can say now that I'm still sad, but the pain is less sharp :wink:

*Hugs*

Thanks everyone :)

Yesterday it was just something small that started me feeling worse - I bought a new cookery book, and was looking through it, and saw a recipe and thought "Oh Dad would love that"..... then remembered - I'll never be able to cook him a dinner again :(

I think also in the first weeks when someone dies you are very busy - then as the weeks pass and things are sorted out the finality of it comes to you more

Yes, that is very hard to realize.
Never see his granddaughter graduate (in my case), never have dinner together, never everything..... :(

And you are right, when the busy times are over then it's final.
And that sucks.

I lost my job on Friday. (allegedly due to there being too many people with too little work, but really due to the fact I suck at life)
