@ Maddy - sorry to hear that - I can imagine it hurt a lot :(

Maybe they were drunk and didn't realise what they were doing though - I am sure they would be sorry if they knew how much it hurt you

They really sound like being uncompetant people !!!!!!!
They have no idea of how much a computer is useful these days ...

@RobinBoda, they didn't make me angry in the time, I was drunk. I realize now

@Sandra, thank you for the kind words. I don't think they'd feel sorry, they didn't drink, and they know how I feel about him.

Try to imagine that guy doesn't feel the same. This is then called humiliation :( You feel like you get back as a child at the time the other children were so mean... Because children between them are mean ;)

I know - even though I am very much older than you Maddy I still remember those cruelties as if it was yesterday :( - trouble is some people never grow out of that meanness - although most do thankfully

ttk - yes would be good if he stayed - he has some wise words sometimes :)

as a football referee many bad things happen to me in a week. dispite being rather good (not trying to be a big-head) i still get a bit of abuse because i'm young. there's nothing like being called a twat by a middle-aged man wearing short shorts in the rain- its rather silly. but you do come to expect it at every level of football in england so i'm not too worried about that- the thing that eats me is that after the game i had last week one of the players came upto me and said, "Don't worry ref, you can't get them all right."

sometimes you come off the field thinking, 'why do i bother?'

Hey, you sir should be applauded. Referee's in this country are stupidly treated and frankly, it is just embarrasing at times. There's going to come a time when ref's say sod it, we're going on strike. It'll come to that one day, it will be a major shame though and will make the fans like ref's even less, but I think it will happen. As fans, we need to appreciate the ref more. That starts with players, and captains. They have to take responsibility on the pitch, which is a problem for players like John Terry because he's the worst for hounding a referee.

I'm a parking attendant and believe me, I know all about the abuse you suffer as a referee! So I suppose I could come in here and talk about an exchange I've had with a random member of the public. But after the event, I don't care about it anymore. I let it go, because I'd go mad otherwise! :o

Worst thing that's happened to me recently, the girl I love an awful lot isn't actually interested in me in that way. Problem, but after a year I've learnt to deal with it! So really, I have nothing to post about in here. 8)

that's a shame she doesn't think of u in that way.

i do forget about the bad stuff really quickly, its just that when it happens you think to yourself, "here we go again." i think i'm just a scapegoat- an 18 yr old ref is seen to be inexperienced, which i guess i am but i've been doing it for 4 yrs, refereed 2 FA Cup games and won youth referee of the year- which i guess isn't a bad accomplishment.

and thanks very much for the support, its nice to know that we are still appreciated.

ARRGHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shit happens!!!! I am Angry!!!!!

Last year I decided to let my hair grow long. Until today they got very long and I was totally happy. Only a few centimeters and the hair gets the length I want to have. BUT: Today I had to go to the hairdresser to cut the hair-ends (due to hair split) and also to get fair colored Hair strands.

The Hairdresser totally failed to put hair strands into my hair. He failed that much that he had to cut off my hair. Now I am sitting here with short hairs and I am totally angry!!!!!!!!! It took me almost 1 year to get the length of my hair as it should be finally and now my hair is gone due to damn hairdresser

still havent gotten my computer back..
dunno if I wrote the whole crap down, so here it is

day 1: my cpu get overheated
day 2: I take it to the place where I bought it to have it repaired
day 5: they call me and ask what I wanna do with the harddrive contents
day 9: they call me again and ask the same question as day 5
day 14: I call them to get an update, they say it wont take more than 21 days
day 21: I call them to get an update, they say 21 work days (mon-fri)

on monday it has been 21 work days since I took it to em

what pisses me off is that they cant replace the cpu in under a month..!
but I built an entire computer for my brother in 5 hours last week, and that was the very first time I did such a thing..

SilverX, have you got your computer back ? :(

I have had a horrible news 3 days ago... I've had a friend from a band since 2001 with who I exchanged emails for years and we got so close to each other. At some point he stopped writting to me, and after getting a backstage pass on saturday to get to see him, I got to know he has gone crazy, I mean insane, and that no one can do anything about it... He's lost...
3 Days ago and I still try to feel better because of this...
