This morning at 04:15 o'clock a very good girlfriend of mine died of cancer. She only was 25 years old... She was fighting it for 4 years. Now it's 05:24 o'clock and I can't sleep anymore! I'll will miss her. But I know it's the best for her!

So sorry for you mate.

My mom has to go through a chimo-therapy course to make sure that nothing comes back after a lump was removed.

It was a lump in her chest,it was to my best understanding a very very early stage of cancer.

So the lump was removed, there no cancer, now the chimo-therapy is to make sure, that it will never come back in other ways.

@Sandra:Thanks,she'll be fine,it's just those 20 treatments during a period of 5 months which won't be easy.

I plan to take her to Scooter tour in 2008,to make it up for the hard times.

Please wish her well from me - I think it won't be easy, but it will be worth it to make sure it doesn't come back.

Maybe I will meet her at the 2008 tour :)

I'm not offended or mad at you because of the question, actually it's a bit easier for me to speak about this here with you guys, than in the real life.

I've been in this community in all its forms since the first forum in 1999 or so,you guys are like family.Thanx for the support and the attention.

@Sandra: Thanx again for your kind words, hope to see you too.

Sorry to hear that Bassdrum. But 4 years is a very long time, as you said, it might be better this way. My friend will also go through the chemotherapy. It will be very hard for him but he says he has a 98% chance of surviving. Lets hope the best.
My bad news: I still dont have the work permit and they just dont give me any information. They dont even answer the telephone. This government is a pain in the neck.

I have mild Acne again!

I lose all confidence with this crap on my face. (People still think I'm gorgeous though of course).

Having my hair done, eyebrows waxed, eating in favorite restaurants, meeting family and just generally socializing etc.. Just isn't fun at the moment as I'm now really shy.

Sounds silly yes but it is depressing.

Hope you can get over it again soon - I know what it can be like, my youngest son has it quite bad :(

But I'm sure other people don't notice it much - try not to let it get you down
