I'm sorry to hear that Sandra. Bullying is a tough thing, but it is so hard to do anything with it. :( I guess the only good thing about it is that he will come stronger out of it eventually.

Well, now it seems to sort out with the job problem.. with some financial help from my family this should go right. I can choose wether or not to go back in the army, we'll see what I do.

Sandra; I got picked on for 7 years in elementary, and I couldn't be more happy for that. It made me a thoughtful and respectful person, aware of other peoples reactions and behaviour, understanding and... perhaps a real good guy. I got wonderful friends, a beautyful girlfriend (until we got together I was sure I'd never have one) and I'm superbly happy with who I am. So the hard times in life sculps your boy's luck in the future Sandra, just be on his side and support him as often as you can without making him too dependent of you. :)

Thanks Posse, I hope he ends up as good / lucky as you. At the moment he is convinced he will never get a girlfriend because no one would want him.

Good luck with finding a job :)

my bad of the week:
sometimes I'm in a really bad mood. I thought I had a really tough barrier, but there are limits. Throughout christmas 2004, 4 people I know, passed away. They were between 13 and 18 years old. One hanged himself, another got himself fried by some cables at the train station, another walked out in front of a car, and the last had a heart failure. When I heard about the first one, I was like "hey, shit happens, death is a natural part of life". But I had just attended her 18th birthday the month before, so it was really weird. But after I heard about the 4th, it was too much. It wasn't funny anymore. Sometimes it's things are falling apart and you are standing right next to it watching, being unable to do anything about it...

Most importantly, don't expect yourself do be able to do anything about it. Strange, sometimes tragic things happends happends, as you say. The one thing I focus on is to be a good and reliable friend for people around me so that I'll contribute in making their lives good, no matter if they live to be 13 or 90.

I know exactly how you feel Bjarke.
Last night a 16 year old girl at my school was shot several times and killed by her ex-boyfriend. He was 17 and they had been to a party and he killed her afterwards.
She lived only 20 km from me, and i have seen her alot on school. She was a nice girl and now she lies with bullet holes in her

Today at school was so sad - there was no education, only crying and a moment of silence in the cafeteria. So many friends and classmates cryed all the time.
All the teachers were there to console the ones who needed it, and there were some psychologists too, to talk to the ones who are having a real bad time.

It was so sad that many of the students that didn't even know the girl was crying too.
