My sux for the last month is that I think I'm having a mild winter depression. I'm sick and tired of everything, including the net (so that's why I've hardly been in here), and I feel tired and just wanna sleep all the time. You haven't lost me in here posse, I just need some sun and I hope that my holiday in Australia in February will fix that. :D

I also know what you mean - I always feel low and tired at this time of year. The sun and warmth makes me feel better - I just want to hibernate in the winter :?

Liss - you'll be enjoying the sun long before I will :D

I hate the winter,it makes me sleepy during the entire day.
In the summer there's more life vibe in the streets, and I'm not so sleepy.

It makes me so sleepy I don´t even do the things I plan to. There´s no motivation. I´m talking about things like working out, doing the household etc. I´m sleepy all the time since the end of November i guess...

Looks like a few of us are suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) :(

Just looking - a definition of typical symptoms:

The typical symptoms of SAD include depression, lack of energy, increased need for sleep, a craving for sweets and weight gain. Symptoms begin in the fall, peak in the winter and usually resolve in the spring. Some individuals experience great bursts of energy and creativity in the spring or early summer.

Another bad thing in my life just now - my son is being bullied at school :( :( . Its so difficult to know what to do :( (being a parent can be hard :? ). It should be a good time of his life, but he's pretty miserable

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, Sandra. :(
Poor boy. :(
Kids can be very evil when the bully other kids...
I think you should contact the headmaster of your son's school, and maybe you could have a meeting with the parents of the one who is bullying your son.
I don't know exactly what you should do, though. :?
I'm just giving you an advice.

Thanks Joey, its very difficult - we spoke to the school when he was attacked a few weeks ago, and things got better for a while.

He is worried that if we go to the school it might get worse for him :? , but if it continues we will go and see his head of year again.

Hmmm...It's really sad that trying to solve the bullying often results in even more bullying. :(
Yes, you should go and see his head of year again if the bullying doesn't stop.
I hope everything gets fine again, Sandra.
It's maybe none of my business, but how old are your son (or the person who bullies him)?
I'm just wondering. You don't need to answer.

Sandra: Sorry to give such an advice, but you should leave it to your son. It's his own affair, if you interact you only make the bully loosers make more fun out of him. It's an everyday thing when you're in school unfortunately. It will be over in a short time...
I experienced the same when I was about 10yo. But I didn't really care, since the headteacher can do nothing about it. If they want to fight, they will settle it outside school.
Life just sucks sometimes :|

@ Joey - he is 13 - it is his 13th birthday today. The bullies seem to be a year or 2 older

I got kicked from the army! :?
They told me I had problems with my digestions because I took some tests after Mexico, but even when I called my doctor and he said that I was secure and healthy, they said I needed more tests! Even when he told them the results of the perfect tests, they told me to leave. Fucing hell (sorry) my other health points from 1-9 was 999799999! (7 is eyesight)

No words.... Now I have to get a new job and find a way to pay my rent, £ 300 until 1.2.06.... :?

I see. Bullies always seem to bully people who are younger than them.
That's a shame actually. That proves that the bullies are big cowards since they bully people who are younger (and sometimes weaker) than themselves.
In fact, bullying doesn’t only occur in schools, but also at workplaces and even among old people!

P.S. I hope your son had a great birthday! :)
