Last week I was also crossing the road on legitimate black-and-white crosswalk,at a green-lighted junction, and this stupid fock just kept on driving, luckily there was a truck making a left turn and slowing his speed towards me.

So it's not enough there was a red light for him,a truck making a left turn and jamming his direction forward, and me crossing the road on green light, all these factors are not taken into consideration by him and he just kept on driving.

And one time there was 2-lane road, the car on the right lane stopped to let me cross, but the truck behind the car which has stopped for me couldn't brake in time,so he tried bypassing the car by going to the left lane, this when I already make the halfway,so this truck came at me,and I had to run fast so he won't get me.

Some people just have no decency on the roads. It's like war sometimes.
I once saw a man on a motorbike get hit by a car. The guy on the bike went straight up in the air and hit the ground hard. I couldn't believe it. I was walking near the round-a-bout where it happened and ran over to him to see if he was okay. He told me he was fine, maybe just bruised and told me I was very considerate to see if he was okay.

My FINAL post.

I'm not here at all now. My account will be deleted on December 26th. You can blame the vast amounts of drivel on the forum for my departure. It has become quite apparent that this is no longer a forum about Scooter, but a social networking site for Scooter fans, most of whom I share no common interests.

It's not to say I dislike the members here but it's the fact that every topic in the users section is favourite colour/song/word/number/emotion/letter/drink of the day, it just gets tiresome (I know I created on or two similar but these haven't caught on, possibly because they require thought and more than 10 seconds of typing time).

I also find that we go over and over the same topics again and again. For example, people saying what song they want for the next single in one topic, then creating a new thread repeating what they said in the other thread. It drives me insane when people think they have to get their point across in such a way.

I am also very thankful for a lot of things. I would have to say I am mostly thankful to the band, or whoever within the band reads this forum because I AM 100% that one of them read the requests for the new album. My requests were to hear HP sing more, more effects on his voice, trance and hardstyle tracks. For the inclusion of these things it has made this album special for me. I am also thankful to the few who took the tie to read my posts and reply in a decent way. I've met some great people here and plan to speak to many of you still on facebook.

I may return someday, sooner or later remains to be seen. But as the way things are going now it won't be too soon. I enjoy no part of discussions here because it's not about the music any more. It's about best friends kissing A.S.S and paying tacky compliments to each other. Frankly, it makes me sick. No disrespect to those who feel included in that, it just doesn't look good on you.

I continue to listen to the band I love and always will, it's just that being here recently has made me lose my love for the music. I need to get away from this type of atmosphere before I lose all interest and forget who I am. This is my final post here, take care guys :)

I'm sorry to hear that you're leaving Nic. But you have a good point about the topics in the user section. I usually don't even read those ones to be honest.

Even though you won't be here anymore I am still glad I will be able to chat to you on Facebook or MSN.
Farewell buddy! 8)

Indeed.

This is such a tight knitted community that I sometimes feel totally alienated from the most prominent of members. I suppose this'll always be the case for such a small forum, seen as some of them will end up staying here an awful long time and become accustomed to each others company. I still feel like I'm being ostracised, whether or not it is intentional is arguable. It could be the consequence of my threads in the User Topics at the beginning of my arrival, or it could just be that I'm not equipped with the right personality to share a decent conversation with the community that permeates every little bit of the board. I guess I've got to make a personal decision of my own before I critically judge your deliberation to depart. As a result of this though, I think we share a great deal in common.

The fact that the USER TOPICS is saturated with nonsense is incontrovertible. In other words, it's become the perfect haven for people to pursue the sole objective of increasing their post count. I would say that some members utilize the section to add some extra points to their reputation count, but that cannot be right seen as some of them have already reached the maximum limitation with their star numbers. There isn't a single topic as of late that has generated any meaningful discussion. You know full well that I've tried to reinvent it with the 'Do you have faith?' and 'The Elephant in the Room', but even that had limited appeal. Jay participated in all of them, as did you. Traxx did his best, of which we should no doubt be a little thankful for.... Still, it was a total failure. There's not much I can do, or anyone else for that matter, to change that now. We either accept it or move on--- you've chosen the former.

Yes, I've grown tired of this also!!! This predominantly applies to the speculation involved around the poor performance of the album in the UK and its subsequent drop in the German one. We've gone over every outlandish possibility as to why the album didn't do so well. I think I've personally written around ten or so posts that attempt to elaborate on its misfortunes by thinking outside of the box a little. A few days later though I've realized that what I've said has had no impact whatsoever on the readers. They'll say 'ummmm, good thinking', but then go on to completely or ignore it or deliberately contradict it in another thread. Or, and this is even worse, they'll repeat posts that were the precipitants of my replies, and write them down verbatim in another thread, and you can see the result... It sets the stage for the same discussion, with similar replies, and heck load of reiteration. YAWN!!!

I sincerely hope you do return. How dare you make me battle this on my own!?

In all seriousness though, it sucks to see you go. I think you should just suck it up and contribute your two sense regardless of whether or not people read it. I do it. Granted it may be a little unorthodox and futile in the end, but I get comfort from knowing that at least some of the intellectuality gifted members take the time to ruminate about my posts. Perhaps you should think and approach things the same way?

I guess I'll have to get Facebook now. :S

Sad news that you are leaving us here Nic, I hope not more will follow otherwise this community will break down. ;( For a moment I was afraid you didn't liked Scooter anymore, but I was happy to read that you still love them, but that you just are fed up with this place. I hope you will return some day here, it's not that bad, sometimes just a bit frustrating to read some answers in posts from the moaners etc. , that really get's on ones nerves sometimes. I have no plans to leave, because I still like this community, although I have to admit we had better days. Many "old" members don't post here very often anymore, so I sometimes feel a little bit lost amongst the new fresh ones that actually post the most. :S I hope to speak to you on Facebook in the future, and maybe we will see eachother on some concert again, that would be cool ;)

Don't we all? I don't see the point of staying here anymore to be honest. I'll never really feel like a member of this community again, so I'm losing more and more interest everyday. I've been speaking about this to Nic for a while now, so it's not as if this is a new trend or anything. Very few bother to read posts or take them into account. Posts are reiterated, almost verbatim, on a daily basis. And no one recognizes each other for who they are. So much has changed since I was here last time that the place is almost unrecognizable.

With the USER TOPICS being hijacked by a small esoteric group of fans, there's nothing really exciting going on. To make things worse, I've got allot of problems in my life at the minute, and with Christmas rearing its ugly head, I've got to put on a happy face and pretend to be enjoying myself. The last thing only mind will be this place.

While I'll still be able to talk to you via MSN, it's still a shame to see an intelligent poster announce his departure. I really wish it was someone else to be frank....

I think people are being a bit melodramatic. While it's true that a lot of the discussions in the 'user topics' section are very frivolous, nobody is forcing you to read them.

I think the only reason why they're so popular at the moment is that there's nothing much else to talk about right now. The new album unfortunately hasn't been a real hit, so we can't really talk about all the exposure the band's been getting, nor the critiques they've been receiving from the industry . And because it hasn't been a hit, it's probably pointless speculating about future single releases because there most likely won't be any.

I'm sure the forums will come alive again once the tour starts. In the meantime, I think it's silly when people carry on about leaving the forum as though their dying. If I ever lose interest in Scooter, I might stop leaving posts as frequently as I have since I joined in April, but I won't un-register my account in the off chance that my interest might re-iginite and I could get engaged again. The only set of circumstances in which I would cancel my registration would be

a) If the band broke up and immediately renounced everything they'd ever made
b) If they all died (heaving forbid)
c) If they were hiding subliminal messages in their lyrics all these years urging me to buy their records

It's sad to hear you're leaving, Nic, although I understand why. I feel I'm a part of the reason, cos I have posted more sh!t and senseless things here than most others.
I feel sad for this, as it's not in my meaning to drive others insane and leaving because of it :(

I hope you get a nice Christmas, though, and a happy new year, and may you find what you've lost here, somewhere else.

Iīm rather shocked...my boss told me today that the restaurant is out of bussiness , so we wonīt open it anymore, it seems that since the end of the summer the income hasnīt been as successful as we need, and he has some problems with legacy due to some licenses, i donīt know-
I have the right of a state pay for a year, but anyway i need to find a job soon, i canīt be unemployed, i canīt stand it.

Btw, Hamburg concert is on risk, because i donīt know if at my next job i could be free those days...
