Things have started going well this week. I've been working really hard for the last 12 days, writing some abstracts and tests. Fow now there's only one problem left to settle - a few tests for Partial Translation Theory. :)
Riding with me is my friend R.J.Jordan,
Knowing the rules aint part of his program,
Finding the right tune that fits the track,
Might be pretty hard cuz he's f_cked on crack!

Start the match and find the station
Reach what you can and party the nation,
A? Hey! Whatcha gonna say?
I automate the sequence and speed for my getaway
Take it to the edge, there's nowhere to hide,
And call up the crew; let's go for a joyride!

Let's go for a joyride!

this begins as a bad thing but turned into something somewhat good in the end.

We said goodbye to your favourite teacher today.

However, I asked him whether he is coming to our farewell dinner in January and he said "of course I'm coming!" (in Chinese, obviously)

yesterday we had one of those tests that we have every we finish a chapter in our textbook. The test consists of the new characters, which is about 20 to 40 every time. This time it was 41 and I had one wrong - the last one. For me it was pretty important that the last test with our teacher would give a good result.

Not a good thing but missed my flight to Hamburg Lubeck for the Rostock gig due to snowfall and blocked motorways in the UK. Gutted. I will camp out at Heathrow overnight to make sure the same thing doesn't happen next week!
Whenever people agree with me I always feel I must be wrong.

The place I work at, arranged a "julebord" last night ("Christmas table", dictionary says Christmas fare, is this correct?), which is a kind of party where one's gathered for a nice evening with friends/colleagues, with good food, mostly traditional Christmas food.
It was held on our local Chinese restaurant, so Chinese Xmas food was also served. I had some spring rolls, but didn't try the other things, as they were marked as spicy, and I'm not very tolerant to very spicy things.

I had a good time, already looking forward to next year :)

I love Chinese food - had some spicy food today in my city's Chinese restaurant.
My good:
At our school, there is a Christmas fair - not fare, but fair - where we sell Christmas decorations and cakes made by ourselves. And the money is overflowing, so we can go to interesting trips this last year at primary school :D

I received a nice parcel today.

in China, they do not have as big a variety of chocolate as back home. So I received a parcel from my mother containing Marabou chocolate and marzipan chocolate as well as some other christmas sweets and a ticket for a concert at home in March.

Also, I'm seriously considering to buy a traditional Chinese suit, like the one worn by the guy on this picture:

tailor-made clothing is so cheap here, so I'd be silly if I didn't sort of jump on it. Btw the picture is unrelated.

Are you going to get to Denmark for Christmas? (Sorry, I've forgotten if you've mentioned it!) As for the clothing, man, I wish I had a suit like that, I love that particular Chinese style and I have never seen such clothes for sale here. Maybe I'll have to visit China one day just for that. :D And especially if you can get it specifically tailored, it'd be insane not to have it, and unless they have totally joined the capitalism/consumerism bandwagon, the product might last better than any clothing you've bought in your life so far!
 This is a signature.

unfortunately, I'm not going home until mid-january. IMO they HAVE totally joined the capitalism bandwagon in most aspects, however, if you find the right tailor (and probably avoid the big markets) you can get an awesome product. One of the other students went to buy 2 pairs of pants, 1 vest and 1 jacket - all tailor-made and very nice quality. Total price was 1100 yuan (around 140 euro, I think)

Losing weight that quick sometimes leaves white stripes on your skin
those striped later change their color and get darker.
I dont know whats the English word for those.
Gaining weight quickly also causes these stripes

BTW: Dont forget 20 pounds is just 10 kilos :)

yeah, it left stripes. Is it being referred to in English as stretch marks? It's literally what we call it in Danish.

I know, but 10 kilos can be a lot too :) I'm looking go get below 80 kilos (again), but I'm stuck at 94 at the moment. I pretty much randomly lost 8 kilos during the last 2 months though.

Im not sure wheather its good or bad, but after all it was funny and a little retarded :D

Me and my bro had to pick up a relative in the middle of Germany (near Göttingen), so we bought a ticket which is valid in the whole lower saxony, for 29€.
On the way there - it was 12 PM- we drank some vodka and amused ourselves.
On site we barely missed a train back and had to wait one hour. But well ,so far so good. At 7 P.M. we were back in Hannover.

Then -as it wasn't too late yet- we decided to utilize our expensive ticket. Once again we bought some alcohol, and hopped into a train and got to Bad Harzburg..But then on the endpoint - In horror we ascertained that this has been the last train at all. The next would be departuring at 8 A.M... So without long reflection we got on a bus which should us have brought to another villige, with the hope that there are still some trains to Hannover.

Eventually we ended up somewhere in nowhere, in a small village in the Harz region. 22 PM, -8°C. Pure silence. No trains still less a station. No busses either. On the roadsides are huge snow-hills. One begin to freeze.
After a short lointering we found an opened greek restaurant and branced ourselves to stay there till 8 A.M. This is when the next bus would move off.
But although there was a sign "opened nonstop", we were drummed off at midnight. Fortunately there was another bar
when we could stay some more minutes. A plastered guy spended to us two beer.
About half an hour later we were outdoor again and considered to order a taxi, as suddenly my bro had been adressed by two guys from Hamburg before a filthy discotheque. We talked a little and finally got in...
It should be become a long night full of sex drugs and rock'n'roll.
We drank some more beer, danced & laught at some alcohol corpses who had fallen asleep on the bar. The hours passed quite quickly and we catched our bus at 8 PM...

However, after 24h alcohol & nearly any sleep I feel a bit f**ed :D

That sounds like that was the best/worst night ever!

But at least you got to party and drink during the better part of it. No better way to pass time!
