Must be great... Can't wait the day I have some long trip ahead of me and I can forget this country for a while. Alas, none in sight.

it's down to 4 days now. Hot damn. I went to the bank today to exchange a little bit of money to have a little in hand when I land in China. I don't think I need to take care of any more things before I leave  I'm not happy that the Scooter concert in Denmark is taking place while I'm away. Also, it takes shorter time to get from Copenhagen to Hamburg than from Copenhagen to Aars (the little city where the show takes place)

in China they.... eat substantial amounts of rice. They really do.

On the other hand, it was national day yesterday and it was the "usual" stuff with a military parade, speeches and so on. It's pretty much like in Russia, I think. National day is also the beginning of the national holiday, which meant the public transportation in Beijing was rather crowded today. The area around Tiananmen was VERY crowded, but I managed to get into the Great Hall of the People - which is the name of the parliament building.

Spending time in China at the time of their "pride" (in lack of better word) is rather special. In Denmark we don't REALLY care about those "special" days, we usually use them as excuses to... drink beer.

Tomorrow I'm going on a trip with school to Inner Mongolia. There we are going to try local spirits ("baijiu" - translates roughly into "white spirit"), as was probably what Scooter did back in 2006. I remember some funny pictures on the official site ^^

Yesterday our school was on a trip to one of Hungary's hills.
We had to arrive to school before 8:00 as always. Two buses came to take all the children to the train station. On the bus I sat near my girlfriends and we laughed ourselves to cr@p. :D Unfortunately, we were far from each other on the train, so I had to bear 1,5 hours with my classmates and a younger class. I listened to some cool Scooter instrumentals there, then the train arrived to the hills. I got off and was breathing some fresh air. We started our 12 km long way. It was totally nonsense. Just walk and walk, nothing else. At 12:00 more extreme things came. We ate some sandwiches and went through some dangerous places. The worst thing started at 12:20 and lasted 10 minutes. We climbed a bigger hill, without break, it was very steep. It was hard to breathe there, also I had a horrible pain in my legs. On the big hill, I met my friends and after that we went together. We had to go down on the other side of the hill. As it was steep, we had to go down very slowly. Funny situations came then. :D All my friends were in front of me, and accidentally, I started to run. They did it too as my hands pushed them by theirselves, and we ran down from the whole hill. It was the biggest laugh we had there. We finally came to a village, where we had a lunch break. There was a bridge which led us to the forest. We played there and sat near the river. The train came. My friends wanted me to come with their class on the train, so they asked their headteacher who allowed it. At 18:00 I arrived home. My legs hurted and I got cold. But it was okay for me. The best thing, that my friends are real friends again. :)

actually, I don't know if this is a bad thing. Tomorrow is my birthday. I feel so old already... I've even begun to lose my hair.

Good thing is, I'm going with a group of people to a great Indian restaurant tomorrow evening. It's going to be good fun, as we're going to consume a whole lot of beer afterwards, if not already during the meal.
