Blank&Jones

What do you think about Blank&Jones? I like their Trance music a lot, and their DjSets are always great too. They are my 2nd favorite band after Scooter!

In case you don't know them:

http://www.blankandjones.de

And another tip for foreign fans who live in countrys Techno isn't so popular. Listen to German radio station Sunshine-Live, they play all the time Dance/Trance/Techno/House and also lots of Scooter tracks.

yeah, i like blank & jones, especially cause i can get them off of itunes, here's my favorite trance artists:
-andy moor
-adam white
-thrillseekers
-kyau vs. albert
-Mirco de Govia
-Markus Schulz
-enmass

and for radio, etn.fm is always worth a look, as is sunshine live, risefm.com has similar music also, and groove radio. if anyone is seriously looking into trance, the website on my sig, tranceaddict.com, is the place to keep up with the scene.

Lasgo - Generic. One of the many trance groups out there that all sound the same (ie: DJ Encore, Ian Van Dahl, etc.)
Sylver - Don't know.
Fragma - Don't know.
Kate Ryan - Liked the one song I heard from her.
DJs@Work - Like'em.
Novaspace - Don't know.
DJ Sammy - Can't stand him.

those are more pop type acts, commonly known in the trance community as 'cheese', cheaply made music with predictable breakdowns and synths, and vocals. i like some of these becuase they're good for parties and dances, but they aren't good reresentatives of trance in any way.

I know that those acts don't have a good reputation in scene. But those people say the same about Scooter. You should know that most part of German Techno scene label Scooter as cheap commercial shit.

But i don't give a damn about those prejudices if I like the music. :D

Blank & Jones. Love it. I must say that I haven't heard so many tracks, but "A Forest", "Mind Of The Wonderful" and "Perfect Silence" are awesome tracks.

And when I looked my own personal list of best songs 2004 I found:
8 - Blank & Jones - Mind Of The Wonderful
14 - Blank & Jones - Perfect Silence

And best Scooter track was 12th (One (Always Hardcore))

"Desire", "Cream","Nightclubbin'"

Yes. I like B&J
Waiting for albums from Way Out West, Sasha, Second Sun, Airwave, BT, Quivver, Pendulum, Solarstone, Röyksopp and Massive Attack
