"Stripped" - cover of Depeche Mode

It might have been posted before (I was on holiday so missed a lot) but "Stripped" is a song of "Depeche Mode" (my second favourite group :) ) - any ideas how/why it happend? Did they get the permission from DM? Or just a (very good!) cover :?

marilyn manson also covers depeche mode, so why not scooter. HP is has the perfect voice to make a depeche mode cover. It would be nice if they cover 'enjoy the silence'. It's real wicked track. but yeah, depeche mode made the 2004 :) so it's not possible anymore. I hope scooter will make similar tracks like stripped (or depeche mode style) in the future.

I think you got me wrong developper. I don't want scooter to cover more dm-tracks. I just hope they make more similar tracks in that kind of style. I like it and with these tracks they can impress the anti-scooter people. And here in Belgium there are few scooterhaters who changed there opinion about the group after listening to an album.

I hope they don't! This not means that that I hate DM! Otherwise I like their songs, but I hope Scooter won't do a whole DM cover album! That's not their style, it would be nightmare!
