I haven't been on the forum lately - can someone please fill me in?

I've been quite busy lately and haven't had the chance to come on here. Now that the tour is over, is there any news about a new single/album? Will there be new material anytime soon?

No news about a new single or album, only the statement in one of the 'older' interviews that they are working on the next album already. Some expect it this autumn, some next year. But atleast there will be some new stuff, that's the most important :)

as scooterworld says really

here is a break down on the facts

1-scooter announce they are gonna work on the new album after the release of C'est bleu
2-we found out that hp is gonna be a judge on the german x factor, many think this would be a perfect time to release the new single
3-we also herd after the inferno they were un happy with the new album and wanted to go to the roots
4-TBMU tour seen scooter play a large selection of 2nd chapter stuff including the pusher, which scooter said they hated this song, well its single
5-since TBMU tour ended scooter dont paly any new stuff from TBMU and have reverted to a TSTI style setlist

Shame they've abandoned the new album. I thought it was steller. I have a feeling the band judges their own albums solely on how well they sell. Anyway, nobody can protest them going back to their epic second chapter roots

Not so sure... I'm sure the band has expressed the opinion that they like this album a lot. Not the best one in my opinion, however. But as said, it's time to move on, new albums must be made... I'm really glad they went back to the studio so soon and we're likely to get a new album without a two year gap like with the past two!
 This is a signature.

Not to forget about the rumor Michael is leaving the band due to the fact he is working on its own project at the moment. Michael Simon's making solo music again

I think there is an difference between Scooter and Michael's solo music.
Scooter is his Job and his own music is his hobby in his freetime.

as i recal, michael simon did dj work whil ein scooter and has done a mix for kontor too, but i admit, his dj activity has grown more lately, i also noticed he is not in the video for that one hamburg song, onlt hp and rick, unless i missed him, but as of yet no official news so no fears.

also agree with count acid, i dont think it will be long now until we hear some news, and i do think we will see a album this year, early next year at the latest.
