It's not released yet, at this point nothing is sure. Everything is possible.
I agree - I thought we had already sort of agreed from past releases the early Amazon figures don't mean much at all .
Also I think the Amazon positions rely a lot on International fans (why would someone who can buy it in a shop pay postage or wait for delivery?) - and with the tour timing a lot of us (me included) will be buying in a shop for this release not from Amazon, so I don't know how many sales the Amazon figures currently represent (and I guess its a pretty low percentage of the overall sales in the first week) but I am sure a few of us who normally pre-order from Amazon by now are waiting until the release week when we will be in Germany.
The only really important figures before the official chart entry position are the trend charts in the first week - I think if you look back over the last few releases you will se many early statements and guesses about the chart entry positions that have been far from the final result.
Also the tour could have a big influence on this release - its released on the second date of the tour - and a lot of people will see it live and decide if they want to buy it in that first week - the tour could have a very big impact on early sales
