Short Description
"It's A Biz (ain't Nobody)" is the new official single for the upcoming Scooter tour The Big Mash Up Tour 2012. The single is available for the dynamics and the unique live experience for scooter for the past 15 years of band's career still stand. The starting line in Hamburg tour is from 22 March in 12 cities, the largest indoor rock of the Republic.
On "It's A Biz (ain'tNobody)" HP's distinctive MC shouts, combined with normal fat beats are topped with a Killerhook, this time from the Chaka Khan hit aint Nobody "feat. Rufus contributed from the year 1983.
With the new The Big Mash-Up Tour-Edit the single once again gained considerable conciseness.

No. 3 in Music > Dance & DJ > Techno , but well, "Live In Hamburg" is also on No. 6 in that chartlist, so well, it doesnt mean that much actually that IAB is on 3 there, because as we know LIH is long, long out of the sales charts. So actually I've got no clue how IAB will do, because these Amazon charts don't give any reliable impression at all.

Only the official Amazon charts without genre restriction is a good indicator. This genre charts posted above are no indicator.

Let's wait how it will chart on Amazon mp3 charts, iTunes and musicload.de after 23.03.2012.

Yeah, only after 23-3 we will get some solid and real indications. As for now, all is possibly a good or a bad indication, so in the end no indication at all.

true, we have all come to realize that high amazon charts doesnt mean high chart possition,

but to me, as long as the charts on amazon is looking good, its getting somewhere

anyway

Concerning pre-orders we have had indeed far higherpositions the first days/ weeks, that's true. But in general still this says nothing, because in the end downloads count the most and stuff that people buy in the shops. Amazon is just part of it, and here it's not looking bright, but that doesnt say anything about the rest. I have high hopes for IAB, but well, we will have to see how the public reacts on it.

after the video release and a few days later, we could say sth. more. Now its only for the hardcore-fans. Nobody knows about the release and the new song. So keep calm, they CAN jump into high chart level - if they're in the clubs/radio stations.

It's A Biz album version did good job in Deutsche DJ Playlist chart, so single version should do even better.

we're always hoping for the best, but please stay realistic, if it charts into the the top 25 it would be a great succes in comparism to the last releases. it will take some time till scooter will get constant chartpositions again

I agree - I thought we had already sort of agreed from past releases the early Amazon figures don't mean much at all .

Also I think the Amazon positions rely a lot on International fans (why would someone who can buy it in a shop pay postage or wait for delivery?) - and with the tour timing a lot of us (me included) will be buying in a shop for this release not from Amazon, so I don't know how many sales the Amazon figures currently represent (and I guess its a pretty low percentage of the overall sales in the first week) but I am sure a few of us who normally pre-order from Amazon by now are waiting until the release week when we will be in Germany.

The only really important figures before the official chart entry position are the trend charts in the first week - I think if you look back over the last few releases you will se many early statements and guesses about the chart entry positions that have been far from the final result.

Also the tour could have a big influence on this release - its released on the second date of the tour - and a lot of people will see it live and decide if they want to buy it in that first week - the tour could have a very big impact on early sales

i hope this one charts well, so far early indications look good

1-scooter seem to be going back to the roots with this song, dunno about anyone else here, but i get a huge old skool feel with this one
2-the old policy looks like it is coming back, hope the video is out sooner rathter than later
3-as stated the original its a biz did pretty well in the dj chart, better that some of the recent releases, and it isnt even a single at the time

It's true as you say, Sandra, being released in the beginning of the tour, IAB could make a great impact on people present at the concerts, and make them like it so well that they decide to buy it.
And if they buy it shortly after the show they visit, that amount of possible fans of IAB could give the single a better boost than if none of them bought it.
