I was in the second row upstairs and i have been told that i will be asked to leave the club if i will try to stand and dance one more time.
When i was on Avril Lavigne show at HMV Hammersmith /looks the same inside/, in the same row, everyone was dancing, have fun and there was no problem.
It was my fourth Scooter show, but by far the worst one. I had to sit all the time...
Funny thing was that i got STANDING TICKETS.
What's wrong with you ?

Great great show! Met up with Nic & friend before hand and had a few pints before heading in. Was right at the front! Gotta say we were surrounded by some absolute idiots pushing and shoving all show and a fight so nearly happened with a group of German guys barging everyone.

Good to meet Christiane, unfortunately had to shoot off straight away, otherwise I would have missed my tube back to South East London.

Besides that - was a fantastic show! No HMITF though which was a shame, but usual classics was great!

Surely have to come back to the UK! :)

Great show managed to get near the front towards the end for the encore.

Got a bit of a beer bath from the seats upstairs but never mind!

Tubes last night & today were a bit of a pain, central line & overground suspended, hailed a cab in the end who weren't sure where he was going lol

Pizza perked me up, tired tonight, but happy.

All I can say is WOW...Waste of time saying anything else as my ears are still ringing.....lol. :D

So VERY much better without the Clubland brand........SCOOTER on their own.......fantastic.

I was on the balcony on the front row and I guess I can understand why folks were being asked to sit in the few front rows, The barrier was very low considering........ it was about mid thigh height and I guess anyone getting over excited or even dizzy could be at risk of falling over the edge into the sound box bit below. First thing hubby said to me was ........you needn't think you are getting up and dancing that is not safe......so perhaps its was a safety thing and not them being kill joys. I could see the possible danger.

I was looking out for familar faces.......sadly I did not see Sandra who I was hoping to see. But I did see Kevin in McDonalds before the gig.......but didnt let myself be known I am a shy soul . :S
It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice.

Good to hear you had a great time Shellie :)
I must admit I was in the pub over the road until about 19:45, which is unusual for me, but met a lot of friends in there, then I found a place downstairs where I had quite a good view, but away from the main area (was by the stairs, so slightly above most of the crowd, but had a really good view of the stage and the raving crowd).
Would have been good to arrange to meet before, maybe next time we can :)
I think upstairs you must have had a fantastic view, I must admit at times i almost wished I was up there, as it was not far from the stage, and must have been good.
Was so good to finally see a real Scooter concert in England, and the audience were so different from Clubland - a lot of people of all ages from all parts of the UK ..... and I didn't see a single pink tutu :)
I met a couple in the pub who had been for many years but never seen Scooter live before, and I think this was the case for a lot of the audience, th guy in front of me just seemed so excited and happy by everything that happened :)
As I said before, I have been to a lot of concerts, but don't think I have ever seen such an enthusiastic audience!
Let's hope this English concert is the first of many :)
Btw - welcome to the new members, so good to see you all here:)

It was such an awesome night, although Scooter playing in London, it was kind of always going to be! :D It was fantastic to see loads of you all again, and I really hope there will be another night in the UK soon for us all. That possible date in Cardiff sounds very promising. Only slight downer of the night was the club night finishing at 1am when HMV Forum previously said it would be 2am, so some of us had to wait in the local kebab shop for an hour for the taxi. But the crowd were fantastic, the concert was brilliant as always, and all this was in my home city for the first time! I could even go home afterwards ... Wicked!! :P

Yes Sandra.......next time as I am sure there will be one with the way things went down last night.

We had a great view I could see everything....well that was when the lights were not blinding me. It was unbelievable.....It felt like if I reached out I could have given HP a tickle....lol So much better than the clubland experience where you had to rely on the video screen to see who the dots were moving on the stage....well almost.

Just loved it.......

@ Sandra I felt the same at points wishing I was on the balcony!!!

We made a decision at the beginning to not bother with the front row and I'm so grateful we didn't!!! I took a friend that's never really bothered with Scooter and another friend, a girl from New Zealand, who had never heard of them and both of them walked away very impressed!!!

From getting in the queue to the the tube home it was the best gig atmosphere I've ever seen, the people were so ready to just have a good time!!! I was really impressed with Jerome - I normally dread support acts but I think he got it just right!

We were getting a bit restless with the wait for Scooter but it was worth it, the huge bang before the intro scared all three of us haha and from that moment to the end it was so entertaining, everybody singing along - I think Scooter (and a lot of fans including myself) really underpredicted the UK fan base but everybody in their knew all of the words and sung along to everything!!!

I thought Rick especially seemed to be having such a good time!!!

Afterwards my friend asked how old the guys in Scooter were and when I told him he was gobsmacked!!! Seriously I've so much respect for all three with the energy on stage - I'm a 21 year old guy that plays football, goes to the gym etc... but to go like they do on stage looks tiring!!!

Finally I realised that to actually be their in the crowd is an entirely diffeerent experience to watching the DVD - tracks like DDE, I always assumed didn't really work but being in the crowd - IT WORKS lol

@ Sandra, The view of the pyrotechnics and lights upstairs was brilliant, my partner who was a reluctant crowd member (was dreading going if the truth be told) even said she enjoyed it and said the showmanship of HP was great…..did cost me a day’s shopping first
Having read your exploits as a Scooter fan going to many concerts on your site, how did this compare to others out of 10 :?: :?:

What a show - absolutely awesome! Never thought it would happen but it has!

Have to say, I was really impressed by the dancers and their choreography and all the costume changes. I know they always have dancers but I've not noticed them be that good before.

Meeting the band for the first time was also awesome, it's great how chatty and relaxed they are.

Got some nice photos, click below to see them...

Accoustics were terrible

I'm a life long fan and I've been to see Scooter quite a few times in Germany (including Munich in April), but this concert was cr*p.

1. The accoustics were terrible from where I was in the middle standing about 5 rows of people back. The DJ before was fine so it was definitely the Scooter speakers/mixing set up. All I got to hear was a muffled sound. I know the tarcks so well, I could follow fine, but iof you didn't, hard luck. This compares to the brill music experience in Munich five weeks ago. So they know how to do it, just didn't check it properly in London.

2. The start time of after 10pm was really dumb. They were due on at 9.30 directly after the DJ who had warmed the audience up fantatsically. By the time they did come on, many near me were actually booing and the atmosphere had been partially destroyed. I know bands have vanity of wanting to keep the crowds waiting, but come on. I would add this has never happened in the Scooter concerts I've seen in Germany when they seem to appear on stage almost on the dot of 9pm.

Come on Scooter. An apology?

Also please don't leave it so long to visit the UK again.

Worst show of my life.
Considering legal action against HMV.

Also...

3. Where was the stage set up from Germany? We were missing the great entrance of HP on the video screen and other bits displayed on it like Status Quo?

4. The show was much shorter than the German tour gigs. Maybe 1/2 hour shorter. Also where did all the recent album tracks go? Some of us really like Scooter's new stuff too and they just left it out largely.

i must agree that the accoustics were not the best, The music was fine but h.p. was muffled. on the lighting subject the venue was alot smaller so there was not room for it all, We should be greatful that it was in the uk morr than anything

3. It was a small concert! And it was only one concert in th3 UK, it'd cost too much money to bring all this to london for just one gig. Remember they still have to make a bit of money, I even thought they'd cancel the concert because of low attendance...

4. 1/2 shorter: Againt it was a small concert. And was The Big Mash Up released in the UK? They always had a different setlist for the UK and that's fine to me
