I looked up your posts and you forgot, that C'est Bleu enters NEXT WEEK, not this week. That's why Media Control has no chart position as of now. You could ask them next monday. But if C'est Bleu enters in a good position I think we'll here it from Scooter on monday...

So if you don't here anything from Scooter about C'est Bleu on monday: Not looking good for that song ;)

Yes let's wait and see. The only charts that exist now are the daily "Trend Charts". So on Tuesday we will read it here :P

Scooter needs a top20 or top10 this time or next time. Afterwards a new album will come. If this fails too I won't think about the consequences. . . 8|

Yeah, if the amount of free promo and the famous guest singer Leandros don't help, I have no clue how Scooter will ever come to the top again with a single...... the crowd loved it on The Dome, that was reassuring to see atleast... but well, loving and buying is something different though :S

i agree ed, i hope it sells well,
also i too already know that scooter's CB wont chart this week, its next week, so hope yet

anyway
cd
No. 898 in Music ( See Top 100 in Music )
No. 3 in Music > Dance & DJ > Techno

mp3
No. 518 in MP3 Albums ( See Top 100 in MP3 Albums )
No. 46 in MP3 Downloads > MP3 Albums > Dance & DJ

musicload.de
78

im thinking these positions just wont be enough for a top 10, even top 20, but i hope it will

however top 40 is looking likely

the only thing that can also not help is new releases from other artists and the dreaded christmas hits hitting the chart, just like what happened with TSAMH

also
343,503 views so far on scooter official youtube, looking good as the single has not even charted yet

C'est bleu goes better than DDE, that's fact!
To reach TOP30 or better, they need more promo. (TV, radio, youtube)

Btw, why they've not so much fans on facebook. Every f.cking artist has more fans.
Indeed, the band has so much fans (I believe a lot of them are on fb) all around the world. So?

Although CB is not my favourite track from the album, it';s a fact it has everything in it a Scooter song for a top10 hit needs (or atleast needed in the past), so therefor I do hope it atleast will enter the top30. When CB wont work, I really dont know how Scooter should enter the high areas of the charts again, it will be a dark time for the guys in that case..... don't want to think about that...but I have to admit I fear we might struggle to get CB to a good position, I hope I'm wrong, but I won't say I will eat my shoes when it doesnt enter the top30, because I really dont like the taste of my shoes :S

CB has the good old hit recipe, but maybe that recipe is overused for most people.
Personally I feel a bit like that about CB. It sounds to much like alot of older singles.

I have to agree on that, and that makes it sound less fresh, and makes even with the hit-concept the track still into a risk for failure. But DDE as new fresh sound also doesnt work, and the CB sound is like you say a good old recipe that might sound overused. So in the end, what should Scooter make the have succes again? I have the feeling neither Scooter nor we know the answer to that anymore.... :S

The question is, where do we go?

I think the only answer is for the guys to make exactly what they want to, what THEY think is banging and awesome. Then they just have to see how people take it.

I don't know. The track is an ok album track for me, but the single isn't that special. I think it's because of the melody and jumpstyle. They're just not that catchy or interesting, I think. And the lack of a proper C-part. Just compare it to something like Maria. It doesn't have that drive. None of latest singles has had it proper. To me there have been too many bad singles: And No Matches, Jumping All Over The World, The Sound Above My Hair, Stuck On Replay (noooo)... Most of the 4th chapter singles have had too much high-pitch. Or not enough cool HP lyrics and rhymes. (Again, compare with some 3rd chapter stuff.) Maybe it's just me but to me the chorus parts are too long, they drag on and on, often more or less stopping the song. I think that's one factor, people want continuos beat of some kind. Stopping might work if the choruses were some heavenly voice, but if it's some old (some of them people know too well already from past) chorus with the pitch cranked up, it's not working well enough.

Now, DDE was an interesting experiment. But it had too much Walk In The Park, and that "David doesn't eat" thing annoys me so much.

I don't think the lack of success with a couple of singles is going to kill them, but of course it might tell that their current methods and styles aren't working. I hope the next album will be in a different fashion. They should have released Copyright (with some additions and tweaking) as a single...
 This is a signature.

@Daniel, I think that's one of the things with Facebook, anyone can start a page, and that can make it difficult sometimes for fans to actually know an official band page from an unofficial one, unofficial ages should really have to say they are fan made or there is a danger thy can do damage to the band

One should think, thought, that the page name Scooter Official would be a clue.

I guess some don't bother doing it the (little bit) harder way, but just "like" the first and best band site they find, be it the official or not.
