Good material will attract people and people will talk about it.
This is a signature. Commercial only work out for artists who are already on the top...
Or are hyped through the younger people who tend to follow current music trends.
That's nowedays music biz, sad but true.....
Seems to me most people listen to what's popular instead of using their brains to search for music outside the charts, which can be much better.

I think it was the same back when I was a teenager, everyone would follow what was drip fed to them from the media/radio and be scared to stand out and like/listen to anything different. I think these days it's alot more intense everything thats popular is in your face all of the time for example I don't think there is day that goes by when you don't see/hear a Rihanna (for example) song advertised by TV, Radio, Internet etc.
It is frustrating to see Scooter's last few single's chart disappointingly, but on the flipside all of the recent albums can be counted as a success, it was also only 6 months ago they did their biggest concert in Germany. Out of curiousity I checked out how ATB's recent singles/albums had charted in Germany and was suprised to see that What about us was his best chart single success for years peaking at just 67, his albums have all done very well though (like Scooter).
