Actually this is inaccurate. The problem was not with the promoters (they hired a very professional promotion team who have done work all over the world with world-famous artists like Bon Jovi) it was with Scooter's management being impossible to work with, giving misguiding statements, not returning important phone calls, not attending meetings, et cetera. It was truly an embarrassment for Scooter, and to blame the promoters is sad because they worked their asses off. Do you know how hard it is to get Scooter air time in America?Scooter has been to the US 3 times. They performed in Chicago in 2005 and 2006. They also had a couple of shows on the east coast when they visited in 2008. I went to both of the Chicago concerts. The 2005 concert had decent promotion and had a pretty sizable crowd. The others were horribly promoted and did not get as good of a turn out. Scooter put on phenomenal concerts at both of the Chicago venues, but I wish there was better promotion for the one in 2006. From what I heard, the concerts in 2008 were very small and the promoters had screwed up big time on those venues. As much as I'd hate to say it, Scooter will probably not be back to the US anytime soon due to the last fall outs. Blame the promoters though. It is not Scooter's fault.
If people want Scooter to come back to the USA I think the best thing to do would be to organize an effort to purchase merchandise from the store
Come on Scooter, you have female fans too
