It's A Biz as it is on the album or Close Your Eyes in a new Radio edit with real trance bassline and more power.

Sugary Dip is too hpv-track-like and its chorus is well-knwon (has been used by artists on some "Future Trance"-CDs). It's neither really fresh nor as catchy as "real" hpv-tracks like "Weekend!" or "Where the Beats.,.".
In my opinion they have to release an overworked (shorten some "beat" parts, bring a guest rapper and a C-part or another special thing in) version of "It's a Biz" because this is a black-influenced track Scooter with which Scooter can surprise the masses (no one thinks that Scooter can produce well-made tracks in such a style).
Another choice for a single would be "C'est bleu". Then we would have a typical and an untypical single. If "David doesn't eat" or the album as a whole are successful they should release "It's A Biz" at first to show Scooter's new variety. If "DDE" flops and doesn't really push the album sales they should choose "C'est bleu" at first for not going further risk.
If both releases are successful and a lot of people like the new album, they should take the chance and release another single from it (an overworked version of "Dreams", "Close your eyes" or "Sex and Drugs and Rock'n'Roll" would be good - which song - a more traditional one like "CYE" or sth. of the new style will depend on people's reaction to the new Scooter style in "DDE"+"It's a Biz").

I chose "It's A Biz", only because it's perhaps the most mainstream song they have on the album and would appeal to mainstream listeners, but I'd also take "Sugary Dip" or "Close Your Eyes". I sure wouldn't pick "C'est Bleu". But no matter what they choose, they might want to retool it for a single release.

If they want a commercial success, I think "It's a Biz" should be the next single. My personal opinion that this one could work. But for me none of the songs from TBMU are something really special. Some Tunes are catchy like 8:15 to Nowhere, Beyond the invisible, C'est bleu or It's a Biz. But they are not enough entertaining and unique for me...

I went with its a biz to, it seems to be a popular song and it has the vibe to be big, of course it will need a little work, as right now it sounds not single type enough to me.

but again this album is full of potential hits, they mostly all have some kind of edge over each other, but all need a little more to make it a full single, IMO,

i wouldn't mind even seeing a double a side single due to the amount of hit style tracks on the album

looking at the tracks, they could release a variety of styles rather than the one style, so far a house/trance (TOO) and DDE which is dubstep, so why not one of th electro based ones,

for me this is how it goes

Dreams - its a drum n bass happy tune, good use of the style, but to me a little to happy, but a good dubstyle c part, could be a single as scooter said themselfs on facebook this is one of the favourites on the album.

Beyond the invisible - Cant see it being released, to me this is a album track in dubstep, would also explain the use of hpv to do a mc battle, purely ment as an experiment to me, but i love this one, with work, this could be a screamer of a hit

Sugary dip - i love this one, one of my favs, i can clearly hear the old sound of scooter here with a trance beat and electro influences, a good chorus, but as said, i feel the sample is already been to heavily used int he past, but this has never stopped scooter before (Stuck on replay).

Its a biz - as said, this has all the potential to be massive, but it must be done right, in its current form, to me it need work, sounds more like and extended clubmix kinda track, but if work is done, i dont recommend to many changes, to me its need shorted a bit and a good c part to make the difference, and maybe a better synth on the chorus, but i like it as it is.

C'est bleu - not a particular fav to me, a little cheesy, but the work scooter seemed to have done to even get vicky to sing it seems like they had a hard time, if anything this will be a single due to its feature, but again scooter have worked with others and never produced a single, however if released, this is literately how it will sound, a few shortend parts and maybe a new synths for change.

Close your eyes - love it, should be a single, to me this is the sister single to the only one, same kinda build up and synths, but only a female chorus rather than a male one, a shorter 2nd b part and a new c part and we have a hit

Sex n drugs n rock n roll - i can see the meaning to this song, but i also see it as an album track, but again a few changes and it could go well

Copyright - give it a c part and its done, this also like its a biz has the potential to be a big one

Summer Dream - a good solid old style scooter track, nothing more, i cant see it as a single, this was only ment as a album tribute track to the last 2 albums to me

I see Scooter are asking this question on Facebook today:

Scooter Official
“David Doesn't Eat” is the first single from “The Big Mash Up”. Any suggestion for the next single?

I think it's a biz, or sex drugs and rock n roll

If they want a single that charts good, then I'd advise them not to release a dubstep song. So no chance for Dreams or Beyond The Invisible and no chance for the instrumentals, either. Sex and Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll could chart good in my opinion. The chorus is great as it is, the thing before just needs to be reworked. That is one of the rare songs, that could even get radio airplay imo. Well and if we get a b-side this time, well maybe the fans have a real reason to buy the single? :whistling:

I'd like Dreams, but it could be too "confusing" to the masses. It's A Biz is a strong contender, it would likely work. But I voted Copyright, because that's one of my favourites and I think it too could work. Of course Bang Bang Club as a pure instrumental single would rock but it's not happening.
 This is a signature.

For me MASHUAIA is a track Scooter should release under a project name, because I can see it really working in the clubs (providing the DJ's won't discover Scooter made it). I can forsee an even bigger succes than Ratty had, really :)
