It seems so. I won't say anything for sure now, we don't know. But it indeed seems they're getting lazy.

I wouldn't say they are getting lazy when other people co-write with Scooter. In the past they also employed Nosie Katzmann to write them Break It Up or Don't Let It Be Me and Leave In Silence if I'm correct. So in a way this time with Eric Chase and Chris Avantgarde they did a similar thing. And when you cover a song, it's also in a way co-writing with the original artist. So I see no reason why the involvement of Eric and Chris should mean that Scooter are getting lazy ;)

True. But you have to admit that the releases this year have seen a massive lack of promo. And to my ears, all 3 albums since JAOTW sounds rushed in a way, like they have been more focused on making quick releases to earn quick money with average work.

Despite that, they have made many good songs on these 3 albums, which doesn't sound rushed, but a part of each album does.

Is laziness the answer? :whistling:

No, if you like the latest music ot not I don't think it's fair to say Scooter are lazy, I think they put 150% and more into their music, it's their life, for promo think they have advice and work with what's currently availale to them, as far as the actual music goes they are not lazy, it's just not to everyone's taste, I think they live and love what they do :) I truly beleive music is their lives, it's in their soul and part of their very being :)

I wouldn't make music for the money, I would do it because I loved it, if I was to be an artist.
I too think they do what they love, but one got to wonder.

agree and disagree with many comments here

i dont find scooter lazy, just different from before, we all know every chapter has had a different feel to it,

and i agree with scooterworld, just because some other artists helps with production, doesnt make them lazy, many acts do this, to me this adds to the sound, makes it different, as we can clearly here the difference in this new album to the last few, also we must bear in mind it seems scooter got a little house electro expert artists in to help make the sound right, in the past scooter have done their own styles of house, and it still sounds like scooter, with the added help scooter have been able to make a fresh sounding modern house sound

also agree with sandra, i guess as she says, scooter have to work with what they have, in the end it is kintor that likely has the final say in what the promo will be, i agree the promo isnt the best, but scooter are still charting world wide, so it aint all bad, id rather see some chart impact then none at all

I just wonder - if Kontor have the final word with the promo and all that, why doesn't Jens take care to get more promo for Scooter? He is the boss of Kontor, and the manager of Scooter, so I'd imagine he would do what he could to make good promo :whistling:

No, but he is the boss. But maybe it doesn't mean much if he doesn't have the majority on his side.
Well, #15 is a good spot for the album, with the amount of promo it got.

At least DDE, #67 is a horribly low position.
I've started liking it now, after disliking it at first, so I hope for a climb.

For sure, so he can't just say on it's own that Scooter get a certain amount of money. He has to discus it with others and let others agree to it.

I still wonder what makes the guys at Kontor promote stuff like Alexander Marcus' Soldaten Der Liebe.
That song is almost ridiculous compared to Scooter, I think.

I gave it a listen, and from the start I got this feeling " wtf is this? ".
It seems more like a reaction Scooter would have got :P
