Anyone in the German music industry probably knows, but we don't yet, but I have a feeling if we were looking at Top 10 we would have heard by now

Even if DDE doesn't chart well they'll still release more singles. But the type of single will vary.

TOO didn't chart well so they tried releasing a Dubstep single. If that goes well we'll get Dreams and BTI as our next singles. If not maybe they'll try a house or trance single and see how that goes...

The only thing that can save this album are Single remixes.

"I'm Lonely" was a bland track until they released the remix CDs. The Dressed for Success mix of that song was better than anything on the entire Jumping album.

Hopefully some other DJs will come along to "fix" the Big Mash Up.

Yeah, a high entry would have been announced bigtime, so I also fear it's not as high as they hoped and expected. I do hope it atleast charted on an ok spot and that it didnt turn into a charts disaster :S

#15 for THE BIG MASH UP imo: it's a top10 album, but there are a lot popular artists in the charts these days. Nevertheless the album is too experimental?
I love the album more and more. Wicked.

Yes 10 NEW albums are in the top20 charts this week. So hard competition.
I think it will fall down now (fast or slowly) till the next single release.

you are right, I didn't know that fact about ten new albums. I think #15 is a success. What do you think?

What a relief, I was afraid it would do worse due to the mixed feelings some fans had about the new sound. The album deserves a good entry (because the experimentalism should be praised), so I'm glad to see it entered on #15 8)

Similar position like WGTLLN which entered #14 in those days.
So compared to the past it is a "normal" position. Not really good but not bad :)

TOO didn't chart well so they tried releasing a Dubstep single. If that goes well we'll get Dreams and BTI as our next singles. If not maybe they'll try a house or trance single and see how that goes...

Maybe they should not release as many singles as possible, they should rather release the tracks with the biggest hit potential, overwork them and release tthem with a good release and promotion policy.
I don't understand one thing: They knew that TBMU is an experimental album, they new that DDE is and experimental single. So people have to get used to these new sounds. But why the f*ck did they produce and release the video to DDE that late? And why was there almost no promotion (appearances at TV shows etc.) for DDE BEFORE its release? And why releasing DDE the same day with the album?
What would have stood against the following release strategy: October 14: release of the video of DDE on youtube, myvideo and VIVA; October 21; release of DDE; October 28 or even November 4: release of TBMU. And in between: Broadcasting TV spots, appearing at shows like TV Total or music shows like the Dome etc..
In former times they always did it like that or at least similar. I saw the Weekend-video two weeks before the single's release on VIVA, Nessaja was presented at the Dome one or two weeks before its release, regarding Shake that! there was a report in BILD AM SONNTAG in the week before its release and the video was also shown very soon on VIVA, TQITQ and its video were presented at VIVA live before its release...
What made them change their smooth and successful release policy into the nowaday's rushed trial-and-error-release-policy?

@ Mr. Hyper:
Sometimes it looks nowedays like if Scooter want to check how popular they really are, and they are making little promo for singles, albums and even for the huge Inferno concert, and just look if it goes well or not. Like if they want to test themselves what they are capable of and like they want to play a sort of casino game with their music. Atleast I get that feeling nowedays. In the past, just like you said, everything was planned in a "German way" so to speak, all was almost perfect. Now it's all indeed rushed, and sometimes it seems there is no real promo plan anymore or so, hard to say. Do they want to test themselves or so? Because sometimes it looks like that nowedays.
Well, still, even with this little promo they still managed to enter on #15 with an album that's not everyone's cup of tea as I've read from many FB comments. So still somehow this little promo investment hasn't proven to be wrong....but well, now the question is how long the album will stay on ok positions without bigger promo. It all depends on DDE, which itself is also not very well promoted. Let's hope Scooter are still as popular as they think, and that in the end their promo system wont cause them problems ;)

I agree, that is a success :) I had began to fear it might not make the top 20 as we had heard nothing, and with strong competition.

I don't understand why they would finish TBMU in a rush, just to release the album on a week where the competition is very high and like 10 new albums are released? Wouldn't it be better if they finished the album, produced at least club mix for DDE, made Suck My MegaMix themselves and get the DDE video on rotation a week or 2 earlier? Is this so hard to do?
