Meh, I never really liked Starsplash. Their stuff sounded too childish. "Hardstyle" is not bad but I only heard the amazon.de preview clips which are bad quality.

I adore the cover though.

"Free" and "Alive" are the two Starsplash I heard the most and neither one is that good.

Edit: I just went to listen to both "Free" and "Alive" because I hadn't heard them in a while. "Free" is subpar and "Alive" is horrible. Both have this 'way too happy' feeling to them that makes me want to spit. Not that I'm not a happy person, it's just that their music has too much of it.

oh come on guys ... you think, you like this S##t??? the only good tracks from "Eierkopf und Pfannkuckengesicht" are "Rainbow in the Sky" , "Free" , "Forward ever, Backard never" , "Get Loud!", "Friends" and "When...!" .... but the rest is big GAY!!!!

Ok Rotty if you like Starsplash sound or not, but I think that's not nice to revile them with "Eierkopf" (Egghead) and "Pfannkuchengesicht" (Pancakeface) therefore.

Charly Lownoise had a lot of success in Happy Hardcore past with Mental Theo. You can't ignore hits like Wonderful Days, Stars, Your Smile...

Those tracks were similar to old Happy Scooter stuff... I think certain respectfulness is well deserved. Starsplash stuff today is definitely different, but however it's their own sound like Scooter also have her own.

Scooter themselves did a Ratty Remix of Wonderful Days. Charly (Theo) and Scooter liked each other right from the start! It's not nice to to rail against Charly's Starsplash like this.

Or would it be nice when everyone offend Scooter personally just if he don't like all their tracks?

Their pitched voice sounds not so professional like in Scooter tracks. And their tracks sound often very similar. But I know what you mean with too childish sound.

But all things considered they do nothing else like Scooter! They even just love old happy style and party tracks. Like all artists they produce sometimes good and worse tracks.

I just heard the full thing of "Hardstyle" and in my view, it's better than the other Starsplash songs I've heard but still not that good.

The good old times with Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo... That was great music. I think Starsplash is also a good project, they just need more variation. Without variation it gts boring, as we can see from the reactions to their singles. Be glad that Scooter has variation!

The biggest problem I have with Starsplash is that all their songs pretty much sound the same. If they had a little more variety, I would probably like them much better. :?

I must agree with that, but as long as the songs are great (like I think most of them are), then I don't think the problem is THAT great :D

and as DJs, they're probably the best I've ever heard!

Closer to older-days happy hardcore style.

In my opinion, 'happy hardcore' is horrible. Too fast, too happy, too stupid.

I prefer other styles of techno.

@Rotty

Hast schon gesehen?

Höre Loona gerne singen in Sammy's Stücken. :D

"Back By Popular Demand"? Hmm.... They must not have asked me because I didn't need to see a new Starsplash album.
