Losing serious interest in the band

;(
Don't know what's happening... I'm losing a lot of interest in the band and seeing them at a concert .... I wonder if it is because I want to keep my first music love when I was so young alive in my heart or if Scooter is REALLY my style of music in REAL ....

Well the same here I lose it for a long period, but that didn't stop me for loving them the music they gave me. To be honest their latest album and singles are so lame for me. But there is still few songs that I like. I guess my problem was that I need something else something more hard and melodic in new direction. But here me now still a fan of them. And nobody says that this interest will be permanent. People change sometimes. It's normal. Try not to listen them for a couple of months then you'll see I guess... :S

Maddy do not worry it happens to everyone!
look when I dare not go see a scooter Wolschheim
I wondered if I still love the band before?

yes I love it is nothing to see!
but the style of music is changing!
and this change is what is really our musical tastes?
we love! we can put this many questions!

is what we always feel old when you listen to scooter!
not identify what is a little too much to this group?

this is normal ask questions, because see that without this lie
Success is not really there!

it also has the problem!
we'll have all wanted a new album
and found the long wait very long too long!

you ask yourself questions and it's normal
I ask myself too!

Yet we know that this is our favorite band for years and years!
we are in a period or is this asking questions!

but it will come back, do not worry, it's not because you think it
or you do not come to live stadium that you will no longer be a fan!

it's not because I have not been Wolschheim a cause of an anxiety attack
I'm not a fan of Scooter!

I shall always love! but I think for us all!

it is time for a new album arrives

I also had such a moment in the past, but than after a while suddenly my love for Scooter came back stronger than before. It's normal I think, that from time to time we might get a little bit "fed up" because in a way we over-listen some tracks, and that makes that feeling grow. Sometimes it's healthy to not listen to any tracks for a few weeks, and than when you listen again, you again appreciate and love the tunes ;) .... but as was said in this topic already, people also change with age, and that goes automatically, so it's possible to grow out of music, yes ... but it's always sad to realize that for sure, but it can happen in life :S

I just can't hear certain songs anymore...
Like Billie Jean from Michael Jackson. If I hear that song one more time I'm going f#cking crazy.

For a time I couldn't hear I'm Raving, too.
But it never happened to me that Scooter got booring overall.
They have too many songs to get bored, lol.

I think maybe it has just been a long time waiting for new stuff, I think the next album will have a big influence on how fans feel.

i have to confess that for the first time in 8 years just recently I have had doubts (made worse by this fanrank c.rap - and yes I know thats stupid, but thats the way it is for me - I cant help it!) - and its not a good feeling :( but now I am looking forward to hamburg and feeling very positive :)

You guys mention that not listening to them for months can help.... but I do NOT listen to them for months.... TOO single is still sealed. I don't have the Live in Hamburg CD, DVD of Live in Hamburg is still sealed ....

About live shows ... there are like 4-5 songs that I REALLY like in their shows... the others ones are boring.

maybe your losing intrest in their music, it happens

i once never listened to their music for months, maybe upto a year, then one day put TSTE on and was instantly blown away again, such a great album

i understand that it seems that the 4th chapter has changed alot of fans opinions on the band, i can safely say that it is the least successful chapter and it is starting to show, only TQIWITQ has been the biggest hit, and it didnt even get a gold, so it seems scooter have lost the fans they once had, and i cant see how JAOTW was so successful, although past albums have achieved more, i do think the his cd played the biggest role in that success.

but regardless of all the bad stuff, i still find myself drawn to their music,
i also do feel this way sometimes, and for me its the chart success lately that is hitting it bad,
now for us fans, its all about the inferno and mostly the new album and how it will sound and do in the charts

The waiting has been to long in a way, so people are overplaying "old" tunes, but in fact only dream of the new stuff that will come, so the "old" tunes therefor don't satisfy them in the way new unkown tunes would do. It's not about the quality of the old tunes, but it's simply because people need something new once in a while. So yes, we need some new stuff.

Personally I found the old tunes more satisfaited cuz no one could know how the new ones will be played. But you're right the overplaying could be a problem and we definitely need some new stuffs and more likely a better ones!

Nothing to do with not having new stuff !!!!!! My favorites bands release every 3-5 years and it's not a problem !!!!!
Scooter release each year, and if only every 2 years people are fed up of waiting, so we must conclude Scooter's music is "empty".

maybe the new album might bring back your taste for their music, did you not like the new single so much?

If this question was pointed to me I shall said this: I really don't expect the new album be something great. And for the new single total mess up!

again it all depends on musical intrest,
now i dont like house much, but i do if it is done right,

and from what scooter have been saying, the new album will be a mix of styles, so for me im looking forward to an album which dont follow the last 2 which were in basicly one style

Oh please not house I pretty much dislike that music. I'm fine with electro, trance, hardstyle, shuffle, jumpstyle and happy hardcore!

Sometimes I also think I might be losing interest, but I never ever felt that I actually lost it.
The fact that I'm the one who holds the online fan community of Hungary together (without any self-praising) helps a lot to keep me focused on them, even if their new stuff isn't my fav. Years ago I said I'm gonna follow Scooter 'til their end, and I'm not gonna break that resolution ever :)

Years ago I do said that Imre -SP- but times change! But I do like most of their song mostly old ones and that NEVER gonna change! But to be honest in my eyes the band lost their greatness as they used to be before and that really makes me mad. As I last checked since the 4th chapter began only few song have impressed me (3-4 songs per each album) except "Under the Radar Over the Top" only "J'adore Hardcore" really is awesome masterpiece!
