Scooter 1994 - 2012 ?

often talked about this topic but i am quite sure we see, watch and listen the final part of the band called scooter. i am sure "the big mashup" is the last studio album, maybe a best off album afterwards and thats it. the new studio is not an argument for me. big mash up will be kind of a summary album of their band history and its styles. i.e. 2 jumpstyle tracks, 2 happy hardcore tracks, 1 Rock track, 2 hpv tracks, 3 instrumentals each one in a different style, and 3 or tracks of the current style.

dont ask me why but i got this strange feeling

I think the exact opposite...
I can see them going for their 20th anniversary and a couple of years more.

Maybe even 3 more albums. :P

obviously with one day passing we're one day closer to the end, but I don't think it will come just yet - I think they'll "shut it all down" with a bang when the end eventually comes

i still believe there is more to come

if the new album anf inferno hit big, there gonna wanna try and out do it

if theywere gonna finish, then after UTROTT's failed chart success would have been a likely point, but scooter have done what they always do, spotted a weakness and then looked for a way to the top again, and i think this time around TBMU could be inline for the next TSTE (atleast chart success)

Sorry Flying', I don't trust that feeling because several fans have had it for all the years I've been here, after and before every new album. :D

I think they're definitely going for 20th year at least, maybe 20th album as well. I don't think they want to stop as yet. And I don't believe they'd just quietly quit if some album didn't go well in charts. I just don't buy that. Sure, they say they want to be successful, but I don't believe they'd just quit something they've dedicated most of their working life to, simply because of one album not doing well. People don't work that way, and HP and Rick likely love this band more than we do. I think they'd rather make the next album, as they've always done if something hasn't worked right...

Agree with Bjarke that they'll go out with a bang once the time is right. And no, I don't think it'll be Inferno, they wouldn't plan to release an album two months after quitting. :P I think we'll have many good times ahead still.
 This is a signature.

Like most of your topics - I don't get the sense of it!
Scooter is party, an own music style, the fans love them, the band love their music, they have so much fun (+money ;) ) - So why they should finish their business in 2012.

Sorry, for me, it's a kind of defamation. AND the wrong category for this theme.

Believe me, we'll get their 20th anniversary! I know Rick & Co. :P

They all so obviously love what they do why should they give it up?
Music appears to be their passion, and they are way to young to retire. Anyone who has ever been lucky enough to talk to Rick will know his passion for his work :)
We have no way of knowing their plans anyway, so how can we possibly predict it, unless of course what you mean is they will end in 2012 because as ROCHEN said it's the end of everything ;) :P

BTW - the thread title looks like an obituary, and a fact, which it certainly isn't so I will put a "?" at the end, and move it

nicht missverstehen, hier geht es nicht darum ob scooter 2012 ended weil sie schlecht oder weil sie gut sind, das ist ja ansichtssache. Das ist eine reine neutrale Meinung von mir ohne anti-Scooter gelabere ;)

As Scooter likes techno loves to party, I think they technically had celebrated their 20th anniversary!
after that will depend on how success will be done shopping!
What musical evolution!
and then if there was at worst they'll stop formidable techno and continuous pop music!
they'll be able to do a duet
h.p. Rick's people there and they live music and music is their life!

With every album release this thought comes to members of the forum. Remember WGTLLN? , we all thought it would mean a sort of end and it wasn't ;) I myself am confident that atleast until 2014 we will have Scooter. I doubt they would stop without a 20st anniversary of the band. Often titles can suggest an end, it was the same with UTROTT in a way where poeple thought that Scooter said that they were now over the top, so in a way at the end of the career, and it wasn't the case ;) I myself don't worry that much, and well, I also prefer not to think about an end of Scooter as long as nothing is announced ;)
I have my reasons to believe that atleast until 2014 there;s no risk of an end ;)

Quoted

Freedom of speech is the freedom to speak freely without censorship. The synonymous term freedom of expression is sometimes used to indicate not only freedom of verbal speech but any act of seeking, receiving and imparting information or ideas, regardless of the medium used.

If TBMU will be a flop and the next album to (if any) will be a flop I think they will probably give up.. but the odds for that ain´t high! =)

But seriously it´s better to stop at the top and not to drive the music quality to the bottom before ending i think..
