by the way i just herd the WT pale track which scooter sampled for my favourite album track from UTROTT
and i must say, what a beautifal track

and if you hear it, i can safely say that the scooter verison is more or less the same pitch in female vocals meaning it aint HPV as some here said
i knew it wasnt :D too

Thanks for the news bit, interesting read. It's interesting that they asked for Scooter because of SOM. I'm buying this single definitely, VNV Nation makes great remixes as well! :thumbsup:

WT is great, and I knew them before State Of Mind, so it was a real surprise to hear the sample in it.

@kelvo: Funny, I always remember SOM has the vocals totally high-pitched, but it seems they aren't. :D But there's some effect still, slight pitching?

I would say it's either a slight pitch of the original or another female that sung the chorus for Scooter, but more likely it's slight pitching because I hear that too. ;)

I hope that it won't be just a remix for WT. Would be nice for Scooter to record a track with Sharon. Just imagine a big bomb track, hard trance with guitar riffs and Sharon's voice. (similar with Jigga Jigga)

i still believe it is just a high ptiched vocal, not any pitching
regardless it is the best song from UTROTT, along with a close many seconds, SS, WTB, TS

Yeah, it's definitely pitched up, but I don't think it's the level they usually high-pitch to. Like, medium-pitch this time. :D

@fanatik: That would be great indeed, but sadly it seems like there has only been a remix. (Someone asked something about it in the Q&A.) But who knows, I definitely wouldn't outrule the possibility of it happening now.

I think they just let Scooter sample Pale, but now later when they have Sinéad (which WT likely had not even thought of at that point of time, two years ago) and decided to make it a single, they remembered Scooter because of their sampling Pale, Armin van Buuren they thought of because Sharon has done vocals for one of his tracks, and VNV Nation they know because they've been on same festivals. (They mention these in a news post about Sinéad.) I'm really waiting for this single, I'm sure all the remixes will be great, especially Scooter's and VNV's.

Sounds like a plausible reason to me, maybe WT even liked Scooter's "cover" of Pale.

The remix sounds indeed very good. 8) I'm glad they liked the mix and played it on the radio, as the guy told he never played any Scooter related stuff on the radio. :thumbsup: :thumbup:

I like, I like! :thumbup: I'm so relieved that it's a proper remix again (although I knew it would be, this time)! But didn't expect this style -- it's part house and part something more aggressive! Sounds great, and I can't wait to have it (and VNV's mix which I still haven't heard) in good quality once Sinéad is out. Sharon's voice sounds just great and I think this mix could do well in the clubs! :thumbsup: Great work guys.

it's well produced, but sorry, I dont like this progressive house/trance sound...this isn't Scooter, they're trying so desperately to follow trends but instead they should go back to their amazing trance instrumentals...if somethings is IN/trendy/fresh/new/popular it doesn't mean it's good...
so, if this is a taste of the new album sound, I need to REALLY lower my expectations because this sucks...I cant believe they're selling themselves like this, first TOO and now this...
