Just so you know, the IMPALA awards came in for this part of the year, and sadly no Scooter, that would mean TBMU has sold less that 20.000 in europe :( , geez, this was really a flop then, unless scooter are not part of IMPALA anymore

i gave the album another listen yesterday and i must say
actually TBMU is really excellent and really well concepted .

apparently the only problem is that people expect something different from scooter than electroHouse.,...

I totally agree, i liked it for that reason, but most were shocked on the down tone of the speed and energy . After all the jumpstyle and breaks we had from scooter this was a welcome change, an experimental album, or at least multi styled, I'm hoping the new will be sort of the same, maybe this time less electro house and more progressive, in any style possible, I remember before TBMU release, one interview stated the album will be progressive, it wasn't really that much progressive, so could the new one have more progressive in it this time.

As far as we know we will have

1-Intro :D , most likely ambient of some kind
2-4AM
3-Rick talked about Dubstep a while back
4-HPV
5-Trance - Could be the Outro
6-Progressive maybe
7-At least one Hardstyle
8-House

Most of this has been mentioned on Facebook by scooter, even the picture with the babies is a hint.

+1
I think sometimes people might expect to much of the same from Scooter, and actually they are always attacked by press or by general public of to much the same, but when they make to much of diverence it;s also not good again for both, so a circle without an end......

For me TBMU is in the high personal album chart regions, no doubt about it

Agreed, in the beginning this album was not so warmly welcomed by me, but now its deffo in the top for me -except Beyond the invisible which I still can't stand and also David Doesn't eat,the rest is very interesting sounds for me as I wasn't used to hear this kind of music before

For those interested,

The latest awards for IMPALA has arrived, Scooter's TBMU and it's singles did not make the list,

this means 1 or 3 things

1-Scooter sold less than 20.000 in europe
2-They are not part of IMPALA anymore
3-Or they did not apply for the award (seems like you have to apply for the award if you have sold enough copy's)

I noticed this CD earlier, I lost it a couple of months ago. It turns out it is down the back of my sofa gathering dust with a large half chewed sweet stuck to it. I decided to leave it there as it has no other use in life. I did feel quite sad though as the realisation kicked in that I could have bought 25 bottles of Magners or 240 Bowyers sausages for the amount of money I foolishly wasted on pre-sale versions before actually hearing it. Never again I can tell you, I've learned my lesson.
Whenever people agree with me I always feel I must be wrong.
