I'm sure it's not "only" the problem in the style of the new album...the biggest problem is the lack of adequate promotion!
I don't know what are they doing?! ?( ;(

i agree with a previous comment on here by imre,
seems this is another sheffield/the ultimate aural orgasm style abum,

a no direction one,
but i think it could have been designed this way, scooter had basicly 2 years to come up with something, im sure they knew what they wanted, even if all the signs say they didnt, a recent interview i seen on this forum confirmed this is what they wanted to do, rick clearly states they always wanna try something different, and decided to do a dubstep electro house album with drum and bass elements.

also hp clearly state that ''its not from where you take things from, its where you take them too''

i have the stronger feeling scooter wanted to do this album like it is,

i also recall hp saying a while back that the new album will be completely different from the last albums and the past, its gonna be a love it or hate it album
seems he was right,
he also stated one night, that they were unhappy with what they had and wanted to back to the roots, i think the jump tracks accommodate these comments also you can clearly here some old scooter influence in the album in places, most notably in close your eyes for me, the track reminds me of the BTTHWJ era.

TBMU doesn't have anything similar with BTTHJ or their old school sound whatsoever...you can praise this album and say it's masterpiece and all, but please, dont compare it with the old sound as it has absolutely nothing similar with it, nothing...

Watch Out, Psycho, Learning Process, Main Floor, No Release etc. are miles ahead of any track from TBMU...

I agree, the style of the album is good, and there are some fantastic tracks, it's great work by the guys
Hoping C'est Bleu will bring more attbpntion to the album, because C'est Bleu certainly seems to be getting good early promo

amazon has a special offer for 23 MP3 albums, each album cost 2,98€. TBMU is part of that special offer, so you can get the complete album für 2,98€ only (as MP3):

That 2,98€ price should help to increase sales, and when people don't want to invest that amount of money anymore, I don;t know how they should increase sales for TBMU. If I for example would only like like 5 songs from the album I wouldnt invest 12 euro's in it, but the 2,98 euro's would I easily invest to have them in good quality and the safe and decent way. So people should do so I hope

It should have, because really, for such a bargain price I would say even illegal downloaders might think one time and give the band some money for the music they like to hear ;)

If the album had sounded faster and harder, it would have had a good success entering at least the top ten. Unfortunately the album bassline is weak and ain't hypnotic.

PS I'm pretty sure that all the Scooter fans love HP's intro lyrics in the beginning of Suck My Megamix - that's what I'd waited for. :)
Riding with me is my friend R.J.Jordan,
Knowing the rules aint part of his program,
Finding the right tune that fits the track,
Might be pretty hard cuz he's f_cked on crack!

Start the match and find the station
Reach what you can and party the nation,
A? Hey! Whatcha gonna say?
I automate the sequence and speed for my getaway
Take it to the edge, there's nowhere to hide,
And call up the crew; let's go for a joyride!

Let's go for a joyride!
