It's A Biz "One of our favourite dance classics of all time turned into a dance-smasher of 2012!"
So maybe they have plans to release this track as a single?

Could be, who knows? ;) Atleast the 2012 reference would indeed suggest something like this. But actually the album is stuffed with tracks that could be singles, so we could be in for quite a few :)

I think that's very likely :) Because I'm sure Scooter has more than 4000 hardcore fans that want the box :) In that case it's looking good for the charts, if already 4000 are sold :) But ok, some other shops also offered the box, so Amazon didnt have all the 4000, maybe 3000 I would say, which is still a big amount nowedays :)

Why not include a unique code in the booklet of every cd purchase so fans who bought it on cd can download the extended version for free?
Or why not give it for free to everybody?

So on the cd there are not all singles in the megamix?

Possible, or they mixed it differently (shorter part of each track) so it fits the 80 minutes.

Wow, 115 minutes!

Hope this is available on all iTunes, no just iTunes.de
Its easy to see why this instead of a code with a cd, its a way of making anyone who has bought any of the physical releases buy it again though, having ordered all 3 physical releases I really don't need a download as well, but guess I will buy it ( if I can) to get the longer mix

Oh I will download it for free, simply because I hate music downloads which I have to pay for. But they'll still get their money, because I'll buy DDE single and TBMU limited edition.

They just mixed parts of it differently and shorter I think. They announced CD2 to feature all 46 tracks.^^

Having ordered the physical releases I have decided I won't be persuaded by marketing to buy yet another version to get the longer mega mix, I don't like this sort of marketing

That sucks, in my opinion. I think people who're buying the biggest edition should get everything in its entirety. (And I'll never use iTunes.) So I'll skip hearing this longer version -- at least the actual album has everything and no iTunes specials there. This makes me not too hopeful about the mix; if they can cut 35 minutes away from it, it's unlikely to be very carefully crafted and medley-like, like the stuff in Inferno... Hope I'm wrong.
 This is a signature.

I love Scooter, I am excited about the album and DVD, but I don't want to be taken advantage of by this sort of ripp off :(

+1
I will also not buy the digital mix, I will get it some other way this time. A download code for free download would have been nice for us fans, especially because it;s called the limited fan-box that we all have bought ;)

I wouldn't actually call it a rip off...
A CD can't hold more music than about 80 minutes, Scooter really push the CD to it's limit, because the normal version is 79 minutes and 57 seconds long. A second CD for the mix would also not be possible, because it'd interrupt the constantly forthgoing music and that's the whole idea about a megamix. It's just a bad decision to not be able to download the extended mix alone + it being itunes exclusive is stupid.

It's true it wouldnt fit on 1 CD, and 2 CD's would be stupid, yes...but still, atleast for the fanbox there should have been some download code to download the song for free or for a small amount of money atleast ;)
