What the HELL is Scooter and their management doing? ?( :cursing:
It's only a month before release of the album, and we:
a) Don't even know the name of the "1st" single or it's release date!
b) Don't have the tracklist of the album!
c) Don't see almost any promo for the album!

What I am afraid is total collapse of Scooter in the charts. You all know how much I love Scooter, so if they fail with the new album, that would hurt me very much. ;( And I'm definitely not the only one...
The point is: I really don't know what have they done since Ti Sento, because since than everything is upside down! :(
We don't need a knife, we don't need a gun...all we need is Scooter and some fun! :)

I hope they will announce a lead single soon, use some shwos for promotion and bring the video online and to music channels one or even two weeks before the single's release date. Further there should be a TV spot for promoting the new sibgle and the new album.
According to my opinion the bad release policy since TSAMH was a main reason for the shrinking success - so this time they/their management should learn from those mistakes and do everything to make it right now.
There must be enough money for good promotion and Scooter as the most successful band in electronic music must have a big worth for every record company. If they miss the chance to come up big again, it'll be even more difficult with the following releases. Look at Gigi d'Agostino - he was big in Middle Europe in his "L'Amour Toujours"-era - but then there was almost no promotion for his singles and albums (no videos, no public appearances etc.) and today he is almost unknown in Middle and Northern Europe. Even some tries to come back ("Wellfare" with its video in 2005) failed.

@The Chaser: Heh, the problem is that they aren't doing anything. To me it looks like the management and whatever hasn't paid any attention to past mistakes and isn't trying to do anything differently -- or even as 'well' as before. Compare to Nightwish -- sure they're bigger and all that, but the point remains that they have plenty of promotion going that doesn't cost ANYTHING AT ALL. So one can't say that it's because they're so big, they have better money for promotion etc. -- bands can do free promotion in facebook and the like: and that's what NW has done (on facebook and on the official site, both are updated and kept updated with valid information); the band members have written reports about the creating of album during the work process, there have been interviews that have had small snippets of music, a few days ago the tracklist was released (the album won't be out until early December) and a few words written about every track... Well, you see my point. Scooter started promisingly with facebook but they stopped telling any kind of album related updates at some point. They could have created interest for the album during the year, but they haven't bothered with it. They haven't even told the release date of the album on facebook!
 This is a signature.

Yes, going back to the release policy of former days (e. g. the TSTE-era: single-videos, TV-spots, newspaper-reports, public appearances in time before a release)+more focus on the internet (especially youtube, facebook and scootertechno.com) and they will have a good promotion.
But since TSAMH they have a really rushed release policy - single releases too close to each other (Ti Sento-->TSAMH) and too far away from good promotion opportunities (SOR was released long before the hockey championship), misleading announcements (the double-A-side-plans with TOO+FT), late videos (FT)....
I really wonder if anyone in their management/their record company or one of the band members takes notice of those obvious mistakes.

Quoted

a) Don't even know the name of the "1st" single or it's release date!
b) Don't have the tracklist of the album!
c) Don't see almost any promo for the album!

A: wasn't TOO the first single? OK I get what you mean. If there is "another" first single it'll probably out with or a week before the album
B: tracklist should come on friday
C: still too early for that

i reckon they will annouce something soon,

so far in the last weeks they have announced i good thing per week, this effect should help to build the anticipation and readers will follow to find the result,
lets face it every fan is likely checking all the local sources for scooters new music just waiting for the samples and so on

anyway back to the last weeks thing

first they suddenly anounced the big mash up tour
then and albums became available to pre order on wetbild
after that a slight promo cover arrived
then scooter anounced on their site the new cover and release date
so now in guessing this week we will here more news like a track list or the next single

i reckon the samples will come about 2 weeks before the release

I hope this album flops, so they learn how to freaking promote themselves...Jesus, in the 21st century, in the age of technology, internet, countless social networks, the album is out in 1 month and there's almost no promotion...and it's not some underground group that nobody heard of, it's freaking Scooter, there should be samples and various promos all over the web...I see underground psytrance projects with 100 times better promotion then this....get of your asses!

+1 but who does actually know what the real reason for this "lazyness" is.

Have patience. I'm sure they will promote the hell out of it at appropriate time.

I think it's already a time for a tracklist at least. But... still silence. There's only a month before the release! Scooter should start working on the promo right now if you want to sell the new album good.

Scooter don't care about success, they just want to please the fans with a nice album. :D

I'm just disappointed with the way Scooter are promotiong themselves and their music since Ti Sento. :(
But, they are definitely not the only ones...Apollo 440 is doing it even worse then Scooter. They are releasing their 5th album for few years now, and still they haven't released it. And their communication with the fans is lower than 0. Also, Planet Funk is doing the same thing. Catastrophically bad promotion and almost no info about their new-already-released album. There are many other examples, but these two are enough to show that Scooter is not the only one. On the other side, look at The Chemical Brothers and especially on The Prodigy or Nightwish (Count Acid's example)...they are doing everything to please their fans.
I don't know what disease has infected Scooter, but it definitely is a very bad one. ;(

As for Scooter, there has to be some explanation..... The guys and Jens only care about the money, so I'm not sure why they wanna slow themselves down.... And I'm totally serious and realistic about the money thing, it's a fact..... I like Scooter music, but laziness has totally inhabited them :( ..... They just wanna find a quicker way to earn. Which is why I don't get no-promotion trend that has been going on...... Epic laziness? :D

Why should Scooter promote a album when it isn't finished yet? Sorry but what when something happens now and they must delay it? Then you throw out money for nothing.

By the way, the scooter fans are the only one who discuss about promotion. What the f*ck?. You say to Tokio Hotel fans that they are strange. I would say that you are even more stranger. Over and out!

For me the Promos / chart positions are not really important.
Just wanna hold a good album in my hands :)

but of course I wish that the new album will be a big success :)

We're talking about it ONLY because Scooter so much cares about the success. They told about it so many times! So if they are really want a huge success, thay HAVE to promote better. Personally I don't care about the success, the only thing I'm interested in is Scooter music. But I want Scooter to exist as long as possible (because I LOVE them) and if they need success to stay alive, than I need their success too.
