Then again, why would you have to hold music, man :D Its irrational, just like my purchase of two pink floyd albums, even though I got all their songs as mp3 files

The nostalgia of holding the music, man, that's the case :) even though mp3-files are more environmental friendly, I want cd's from my fav band, even if it only works as a backup.

Making CDs cost a lot of material which is not good for the environment. ;)

I like having a CD collection for a couple of reasons

1: I like booklets. Especially when they have nice artwork, and the lyrics inside. It really shits me when artists don't put the lyrics to their songs. Then I have to look up a probably incorrect page online if I want to sing along.

2. I like showing off my CD collection. You can't show off an MP3 collection

3. Gives the artists something to sign as someone here already mentioned.

Well said! 8)

The physical format is always the best. It's something you can touch and feel, not just some files on your PC. And of course vinyl tops all others...

Guys, you gotta stop talking about "touching music". You sound like perverts. Am I the only one around who just listens to it?

I guess I'm not the only one who noticed this, but:

How are Scooter suppossed to work on their new album, if they have so many interruptions?
At first it was studio time, then hungary, then holidays, next was Rheine, back in holidays, studio, finland, studio and on the 12th it's ukraine and then again back to the studio... What the hell?

Good points Aganim... they really have not much "quality time" in the studio so to speak. Indeed very much interruptions. Which is, from what I remember HP once saying, not good for the creative flow. I remember he told that after a break or so they always need some time to get into it again. It seems we might expect the album maybe in the end of 2011, or a big part is ready, both possibilities.

We just have to trust them and see what happens. I doubt they will release an unfinished album.

hahaha

well as said before, in terms of scooters album, their is now only a few shows left, so they will have lots of time to work after,
and as mentioned before, we all know that scooter have been working on the album and 7 songs were finished, apart from the changes they were gonna do they already have half the album and proberly all the palns for the album too, they have had a lot of time to do so, i reckon as they said september, we should hear some sounds then,

but right now, im more intrested in the live inferno if it is released,

ALSO

i have found out that impala awards are due to announce more awards in september

the last confimed award for scooter was a silver for over 20.000 sales on live in hamburg,

i doubt the 2 last singles have gained any real sales for thses kinda awards, but we will see

and im sure the next one will be in march 2012, so by then the new album will be released and hopefully more awards will follow

Hi Scooter fans!

I am new here, this is my first post!
As I see you have talked about the physical releases. I think physical releases are much better, too. I collect Scooter releases and it is important for me to have a release in my hands. Especially rare items, for example Back In Ireland. :)

By the way, when will we hear any news about the new album? I think it won't be released in September...
