theirs no way scooter will work with pitbull, guetta or pink, scooter are in a complete different music game from these guys, and it would not fit

so was Status Quo and we all know what happened and I actually like that song and the club mix.
but overall you're right, I guess

That's because he is nothing on his own. A piece of sh*t, if you will. I can't stand him. No one knew who he was before he started collaborating artists bigger than himself.

I wouldn't say he is sh*t, but overrated^

well Status Quo only worked with scooter because they were number 1 in the uk, else it would have never happened,

and im too not a fan of Guetta, it seems all his songs have a similar sound, and a massive collab to hit the charts

Too bad so many people don't realize that the charts are sh!t :whistling: the chart toppers are often the most commercial pieces of sh!t, made only with the intention to earn money and top the charts.

But well, charts are in a way the only device to measure the popularity of a certain band compared to other bands. But yeah, I agree, charts are in a way sh.it, because to top them you need crazy frog or some teddy bear, and you sell thousends of CD's

I don't think you'd be saying that if Scooter hit the top of the charts, like they did in Australia.

The charts are important to indicate if what they're doing is popular or not, however. it does not determine the album's quality. UTROTT did poorly but IMHO it's got some of the best songs by Scooter in a while if not ever. Scooter should be big enough not to be looking at charts only.

I think we all are more generally speaking about the charts. There are sometimes also good tracks high in the charts, it's just that the majority in the top 10 isnt really great ;)

For me it´s a pity that music in general or a track is only judged by chart-positions - there´s a lot of real good music which never entered the Top 10...

In fact, most of the good music doesn't even get in the charts. If it gets there it's either because it's good but fairly "easy" to get, or because it's so lame that everyone can like it.

In this context I´m thinking about some lyrics of H.P. Baxxter:

The charts reflect what's popular at the moment, but that doesn't say anything about quality or even if the song is good or not.
Sh!t can top the charts, awesome stuff can flop.

the charts play a vital role in music, although today, they seem to be full of rubbish,
but it as said kinda measures an artists popularity, the higher you are in the chart, the more you are selling

i like the charts and like to see how scooter do, as we know scooter are capable of reaching the top

but overall, the music to me has the final say

UTROTT had a bad run for scooter, but at the same time it did pretty well

it reached 2 in germany, their home town, and lasted 12 weeks, which aint so bad for scooter, kinda average
JAH landed outside the top 10, and despite its bad critism, it lasted 10 weeks, which again id average for scooter
TS, we all know could have achieved higher if it was released seperate form the album, but still despite that it still climed to 10
but this was the crunch for scooter
TSAMH only reached 34, everyone had a good feeling about this song, as it was the first single since 2007 to not be jump of hardstyle, but it started bad, many reasons appeared to its dismall, bad promo, bad choice of song, and so on, but the late promo made it last out for 9 weeks, again average for scooter,

finally SOR, again despite its leading role as an official soundtrack, it did bad again, but the hockey tour did help on late boosts, it ended up lasting 12 weeks in the chart, which is pretty good for scooter,

also the album recieved a gold award from impala for selling over 75.000 copies in europe, which i now believe is over 100.000

so not so bad, but stilla little low,
i think scooter tried to follow up JAOTW, but sadly the inrest from that era was lost and a slight downfall for scooter began

so far both FT and TOO have failed really bad
TOO has proberly been scooter worse release ever with only 3 weeks of chart history in germany and only a top 50,

so i hope scooter can make the top again,
i have no dought the album will do well, but singles these days are hard to chart, only if it becomes a mega hit will it rise to the top
im hoping scooter can still make the top 10-20

Singles are dying obviously. Who is buying them today? Especially those "great" 2 track ones. I don't need a CD with just 2 tracks. It's not worth to put it in a CD Player because it only lasts about 8 minutes.... :D

You have a point there, yes. It's indeed almost not worth it. But well, the download releases have more tracks, and when we burn them on a CD, it's again worth to put into the player though :D

Pretty large cover even for mp3-files. I can't hold the files themselves, or any plastic case with a cover and booklet :)
