The big mash up is truly a terrible name

But who honestly cares

I hope to God though the name doesn't mean that it's going to be an album full of remixes and reworkings. That would be a disaster and probably spell the end of my interest in this band, as I'm sure it will for many others. My intuition tells me that this won't be the case though. Why would Scooter suddenly feel the need to draw attention to their massive ripping practices, when we all know about it anyway. This title could easily be given to either of the past two albums, neither of which to my knowledge had one original melody. I think instead the title means it's going to be a mish mash of different styles. This would make sense, because Scooter are probably getting tired of concentrating on one particular style like they did for the past two albums, and just want to write the sort of tunes they're interested in, rather that what's popular at the moment.

Cool news!
I agree with all of you that the title is not very "original", but it's all about music, so let's hope the album will be awesome! :)
It's great to hear that probably two songs will be played on TSTI, which means that we'll hear at least something new there.
Here I come, Hamburg!

Guess that one of the 1-2 new songs played on TSTI will be The Only One, but I hope that they'll also play another album track.

2) it's an album full of reworks/remakes of their old tracks, but in new styles...for example, if the Only One is really the new version of One (Always Hardcore)...also Friends Turbo would fit in such release, although it's not much reworked, but it could be just a bonus track...so, this could actually make sense, especially considering how lazy they are...

I just pray it's not the 2nd possibility...also, I'm not a fan of "The Big Mash Up" title...too simple/obvious....they could think of something more original, although it's Scooter, yes :)

and of course "The Only One" will be the next single-release, it is a brandnew song and has nothing 2 do with anything we released in the past ;-)

so to me it's obvious, that the new album won't feature any reworked tracks ;)

' THE Big Mash Up " :D :D Nice name , it looks a bit like a sort of attack to all the people that moan about ripping (making sort of mash-up songs), and Scooter use this title maybe as a sort of ironical message to those people :D .... but as said, it probably has more to do with a mashup of certain musical styles, but I like the double meaning of the title  And TOO in May too, so the lost track is back on the case :) Interesting time ahead of us

I never thought that they would just leave a massive single (as they described it) like TOO be, it was obvious that they'd release it later on its own (thankfully, considering the badness of the double A plan) to represent the new album as FT obviously doesn't do that in the slightest. But I'm surprised it's coming May, I was afraid they'd release it after the Inferno or something, but it's much better this way, glad to see it's coming -- if the single is released later in May, it's to be out within 30 days from today, and if the music video will be out a week or two (unlike with FT, but it's not count as a proper single in my books anyway) as usually, we should get to hear the track soon. :D
 This is a signature.

the albumname sucks. utrott was their best since years. based on the title, it will be an entirely ripped album. and the question is, did they spent more than a year to rip everything again? they even rip us fans once again. no new tracks last tour and now, maybe 2 new tracks at the inferno. come on, what's going on?

having problems with the name of the album because the last albums name was very meaningful and kind of catchy. anyway, more important is the music of the upcomming album.

All Scooter albums are big mash ups, what's the point in naming an album like that now.. Probably they give credits to all the ripped guys this time. Like an outing: Yes we're ripping from others. And we're not hiding it. :D

Maybe they should just call it The Big Rip Off, huh? ;)

I like this new title. I share the same thoughts as Scooterworld here, that this has a double meaning and it makes me really curious about the album. Maybe it will be quite diverse this time? The name could imply a number of things. That's why I like it. This time, yeah, they're keeping it simple, but it fits their style perfectly. I have no problem with the title, I'm just looking forward to the ~12 new tracks. :)

I think the name is a bit dumb, but I share your and Scooterworld's thoughts about the double meaning of the name.

The only negative thing, to me, is that despite being a name with double meaning, The Big Mash-Up kinda shouts sampling/ripping/mash-up of other artists work.
Though, that's not different to what Scooter have done all the time.

yes, I've noticed that, but "brand new" is a relative term when it comes to Scooter... ;) cough-ripoff-cough....

i think one of the songs in TSTI is The Only One
and they never play Friends Turbo in TSTI

Friends Turbo is only a Movie OST Track
not an official Album Track :P
