So as it looks Saturday we will have the preview of some new tracks, during the Inferno concert. Now let's hope they really do it, but I think they will. This will be so exciting to hear
where do you have this information from?

If I remember right they said that they are very likely going to play one or two new songs from the album.

I think they'll play The Only One and maybe another song^

The Big Mash Up is like a "yeah, whatever" name.
name-wise I'd say UTROTT, WGTLLN and TUAO are the best. :D

the name itself kinda describes the albums meaning i think

and regarding the inferno
i think TOO will be played and possible 1 or 2 new tracks too, one likely being the next single

im also looking forward to any re edits too, as to me this adds to the whole live experience

This is Scooter's last chance to retain me as a fan

This album better be good is all I'm saying. Let's face it, the fourth chapter has been a disaster. UTTROTT is a disgrace to Scooter's earlier work, and the previous album wasn't a whole lot better. Scooter really went off the rails in chapter 3 though, when they started the heavy ripping and not caring about quality. All they care about these days is fame and how the music charts. If this album is bad, or even just mediocre (probably the former) then my interest in this band will have completely dissapated. I will always have the albums I own to cherish, but as a functioning entity Scooter will be dead to me.

Haha sorry for being such a downer. It's just how I feel. :)

I actually don't mind the 4th chapter so much. UTROTT is one of my favourite albums. But then I also think that JAOTW is their worst... All in all, Scooter will remain to be my favourite band of all time, just because of the memories the songs bring back to me, and the feeling I get when listening to them. Not many other artists can do that for me. If TBMU is a sh*t album, then they will just have to try again next time.

By the way, second chapter is my favourite!

I sometimes think that they have problems to find THEIR fourth chapter sound.
The first chapter was especially happy hardcore ("Friends", "Endless Summer") + some softer tracks ("I'm raving", "Break it up", "Rhapsody in E").
The second chapter had a darker and more futuristic style with slower beats, a deeper bass, electro and club influences ( especially "Back to the Heavyweight Jam").
The third chapter was the pop/dance/happy trance chapter. Sweet hpvs, happy melodies, bass/beats hard and fast, but not too reckless, everything sounded "round".
But the fourth chapter?
It could be the jump-/hardstyle chapter on the one hand, but on the other hand I don't lose the feeling that Scooter actually wanted to go more towards (electro) house (and this might have been a main reason for bringing the electro house specialist Michael into the band) and even a bit towards hip hop, but didn't really succeed with that. House/hip hop + typical Scooter elements (energy, speed, catchy mellows and refrains) don't really fit together.

If you feel that way, I hope the new album disappoints you. I'd say it's a good riddance of a "fan"

You know in terms of ripping, UTROTT was and is still the only album in which I feel they did too much of it.
It was mainly the lazy way by ripping hardstyle artists and not the usual sampling from songs of completely different genres.
That part sucked balls in UTROTT, however it still managed to sound better than JAOTW...
In JAOTW the only stupid rip off was rock civilization...

TOO brings me hope, that they don't just rip off current artists.
But what I really miss is innovative instrumental/vocal songs, like some on BTTHJ or WBTN or The Chaser/Like Hypa said!

If they do another album filled with 3:30 single style tracks and just 2 OK instrumentals...

I own seven of their albums. I've been participating in forum discussions for at least the last couple of years. I've been as much of a fan as any of you of Scooter. Me and Jay are probably their biggest Australian fans. People are just blind as to how cr*p Scooter have got lately. UTROTT had not one original melody, except maybe for that section of See You Smile. TOO is a continuation of this. It's unbelievable how lazy they've gotten. All you have to do is listen to some of their first and second chapter albums to hear how good and creative they once were. I will still listen to their songs that I own, but if this album is cr*p, I will take absolutely no interest in any of their future endeavours. Peace ;)

I said I hope this medley played Saturday is not what is planned for the album, because if the big mash up album is built that style of songs remixed medley of old songs! I'm really disappointed! X( and I really hope the new 8)
