I hope very much that it won't be on the new album. It's possible I'm remembering wrong but I remember reading or hearing that it wouldn't be on the album. :huh: Well, I hope my memory is correct this once... :D I think it would be a bad decision to put it on the new album, and if it ends up there, I'm likely to skip it most times (and feel slight irritation every time). It'd suck to have it in the middle of the album breaking the flow and the new, highly-polished sound... But yeah, I just can't wait to hear what's coming, and I hope there'll be two new songs. Imagine suddenly hearing something like State Of Mind + Posse + F*ck The Millenium bundled together (I don't mean a mix, but something with the power of that). The new song(s) will probably be my favourite part of the show. Can't believe it's finally coming! :D

FT was made only for New Kids Turbo, and have nothing to do with the upcoming album.
That's what I know, and what I believe.

Happy hardcore would be welcome on the album, but I don't think they would re-make an old already released song for a new album.

Yes. Precisely -- it has nothing to do with the new album! That's why I hope it doesn't end up there as a filler or anything such. It would an extremely bad move... And, as said, it's a re-worked track, so having it take the place of a song that would otherwise be new (and wouldn't in that case ever be done) is a horrible idea... :| I hope it won't be on the album, but I can't say that I'm totally sure that it won't be there, simply because I was so astonished when they released it in the first place -- without telling precisely (to the public, only the fans know) that it wasn't the next new Scooter single (and that cursed official page telling it's the long-awaited new Scooter sound/single... sigh).

I think FT will be a sort of Bonus track on the album, as JJ once was ;) But I'm sure it will be on it, because the cover design of both has some similarities in the font style with the dripping paint, and well, they promoted both on the recent Fernsehgarten show. So it will be on the new album, I'm sure about it. But if it will fit will depend on the overall style of the album. If it's a style mash up as the title could suggest it will fit, because the rhymes are new and the sound is updated.... and well, once it was intended to have FT & TOO as double a-side, I think that says enough in a way ;)

Maybe we will get 1 happy hardcore track, and FT will be that one. But in that case, it will be a mistake, imo.

Yeah... As said, I'm not saying it's unlikely that it will be there, I'm saying it's horrible if it will be there. :D Anyway, they did intend to have FT & TOO as a double A, but they only worked on FT for a short time and did it for the movie, and one hears that. TOO is much better work and has much more complexity in the sound. FT won't fit among tracks of that caliber, on which they have worked long and hard. And already not for the fact that the other songs are new...

If they're going to have it I hope it won't take a place of a "real song". And I wish they put the dnb version there instead, if they feel compelled to put FT on the album.

Haha -- I wouldn't say that the drippy font means anything other than that they or their designer likes it. :D I hope the album art will have something different though...

Yeah, I do really hope the FT track won't be used to make 1 less new song to fill the album, but the chance is there, because a re-work in the artists eye is also a new song. But yeah, if than please only as an extra, and yeah, definately as DnB version, to have that one on a genuine physical CD ;)

maybe 13 tracks they said so probably FT will be on it. which is very bad. 2 years for a new album and than filling it up with friends turbo. would be pure lazyness. in '96 they made 2 classy albums and worked on several remixes and projects. now they do nothing for the love of music anymore.

btw if TOO is selling bad, will this mean that they adapt their tracks and delay the album-release once again?

It might be possible that they do so in a way. I would do so, when I would see a certain style isn't really appreciated and I had the time and ideas to change some already made tracks a little bit into a different direction. But it all depends on how far the work on the album is already completed. I suppose atleast around 8-10 tracks should be ready already, and in that case it;s maybe to much trouble to change all and better take the risk and hope for a little succes atleast ;) And well, if TOO doesn;t work chartwise it doesn't mean another track in a similar style wouldn't work. Maybe if a chorus is more catchy to the general masses, it suddenly will work ;)

I don't know why, but I'm afraid for the album results.
I mean if most of album theme as it seems to me so far is based on this kind of direction like TOO-then Houston we have a problem. Maybe they rework a bit the album now as they learned it don't work well,who knows. In SASH case he's reworking his new album for 7 years already to fit the new successful music,I don't think there could be such long delay with Scooter as they always on some kind of deadline-which I always find weird considering they pretty much own the label.

I myself like this TOO track very much, as I also liked Ti Sento, but for some reason they just don't lift off well, so I hope the album will have more success.

I think what can actually boost the album sales is if they will release a DVD of Inferno maybe with some package that includes the new album-I think this will be a good move-which wasn't tried before, and who knows-it actually might work well, because the LIVE DVD always worked well with Scooter-and maybe a new album including a LIVE DVD will seem like an interesting purchase IMHO.

They had re-released the JAOTW with DVD from Berlin Open-Air, but JAOTW was release prior to the DVD, now I think they should release totally new album with totally new DVD...

It would indeed be very wise to put the DVD recorded at the Inferno as bonus to the new album, maybe even including the live CD as bonus as well, and than sell all 3 discs in 1 package for a reasonable price, and that should help to boost sales for sure.

I don't seriously know whether they will alter existing tracks based on TOO's success. Something makes me think they'll just get it over and done with and try again with the next album. :) At least I hope that because I think TOO was good and if one track doesn't do that well it doesn't mean another won't, and there's also my assumption that the album will have several styles. But in theory something house-hybrid should work because that's all the rage now, isn't it?

I remember reading, after the interview in the end of May, that they said they had then 6-7 tracks about finished.

If Friends Turbo is released on the album, let it be DnB version as bonus only.

possible, but who knows, and they did say that some tracks are finished, but they are still tweeking them to improve the tracks

I would think so, yes ;) So it might be that the next single after TOO, if also a sort of house-hybrid, might suddenly work because it;s more catchy to the masses or so. Nothing is lost just yet I would say ;)

same here, you have to give it a chance,

So as it looks Saturday we will have the preview of some new tracks, during the Inferno concert. Now let's hope they really do it, but I think they will. This will be so exciting to hear :thumbsup:
