Scooter influence in my live

It was 13 years ago, in 1998, i was watching VIVA and then three guys appeared with a strange title song, "How much is the fish?"...since then most of my live rutine has changed...

I´m writing this because noow i´m deep browsing for a flight to Hamburg to go the inferno, and i have a lot of difficulties, flights from where i live are so expenseives and which is worst, soo many complicated (stopovers, so much time between flights...) i cannot imagine me doing this a couple oof years ago...i have to ask about free days for me and my wife, which here is very difficult, afford money (a flight for 2 persons costs about 500 euros, just the flight), convince my daughter to stay 3 days without us, and then get prepared for hours and hours at the airports...but all worths it...

Scooter makes feel like in another life, they make me doing things i could never think i would do it, every day, like an inspiration, i don´t want to imagine what could i have doing now without their music, i have met extraordinary people thanks to them, i have had deep emotions at the first row, i test the hard hamburg winter, haha...and soooo many things that are present in my live day by day, for all, thank you Scooter and Scooter fans, even you dont know it or mind it, thank you.

can not more agree. For me scooter is kind of my religion. Used to know scooter since the very beginning but I payed attention to them in 2005. Since the last 6 years a lot changed due to scooter. I was never in need for music but since scooter I love music very much, cant life without it.

It's kind of funny if you think how one band can actually change your life in some way, even if it's just a minor thing :D First thing that comes to my mind is that most songs I pick at singing lessons can be tracked back to Scooter, or more precisly to this forum in some way. An example: I was in a band a year ago and we played U2's Beautiful Day, because I had found Scot Project's remix of it and I really liked the track. And how did I hear about Scot Project? Dave From Sheffield (a member of this forum) told me about him :D

I got to know scooter back in 2001 when there was played Posse or I'm your Pusher on TV (dunno exactly).
Since then I always watched their music videos on MTV & Viva and bought a lot of their records, among them a Push The Beat For This Jam MC in St. Petersburg, back in 2003 during my holyday.
I remember how I was walkin around there with my cassette player and headphones on my ears :) Great memories which make the 2nd chapter stuff even more awesome for me.
Until about 2003 scooter became my one and only number 1 band and I stopped listening to any other pop(ular) music completely.
The most significant influence of Scooter music in my life is when I started producing myself.
2007, just after TUAO, there came along this amateurish sounding JAOTW album which literally was craving for being covered and imitated. I downloaded FL-Studio, sampled a few elements of Lighten up the Sky, Cambodia etc. and began experementing with the virtual sequencer. In the mid 2010 having came to know with any Scooter track (as suggested by HP "check our records that you still dont know") I finally felt ready to came up with an own tune. Moreover I was getting more and more capable to see through the structure of their tracks over almost one decade so that I couldn't resist from trying it myself.
Meanwhile Scooter is my first-choice inspiration source for techno music and I have relased quite a few own tunes that stroke a chord with a broad public.
I'd say: Scooter made me do it!

i first herd scooter in 2002 when i herd ramp, i bought the german version of PTBFTJ and went on from there,
i remember being suprised to see the history, as i thought PTBFTJ was there first album,

i have since also got into producing my own music for fun and can play most of scooters meledys myself now
ans i follow this band a lot, although i have never seen them live, i enjoy keeping the facts of scotoer in my head to help other fans
